This weekend in Richmond is hot enough to enjoy and complain about. We can't wait. Thursday, June 12 🏳️🌈 Hoedown for Pride at Babe's and get your annual line dancing in, starting at 7pm. Free. Friday, June 13 🪻 It's a bit of a hike but Amelia County, about an hour from Richmond, has its annual lavender festival with live music Friday-Sunday. Times vary. Tickets are $10 at the gate. ⛺️ The VMFA has its "Shop Tent Sale" where you can get books, home decor, jewelry and more — all discounted. Friday and Saturday, 9am-3pm. Free, unless you buy something. Saturday, June 14 🌍 The Multicultural Festival is back at Dogwood Dell in honor of Immigrant Heritage Month and World Refugee Day. 1-7pm. Free. Elegba Folklore Society has a Juneteenth "Freedom Celebration" at the Manchester Dock (1-4:30pm) and along the Trail of Enslaved Africans (4:30-8:30pm). Free.
