Slim Thug's Valuables Stolen In Apartment Burglary: Report

Yahoo08-04-2025

While Slim Thug was in San Antonio on Monday night (April 7) rallying behind the University of Houston Cougars during the National Championship in San Antonio, thieves were breaking into his H-Town home, KHOU 11 reports.
Authorities confirmed a break-in at the Catalyst high-rise apartments around 11:20 p.m. of the same day, with Police sharing belief that the intruders forced their way in sometime between 3:30 P.M. and 11 P.M. According to law enforcement, the building's security noticed a door that had been forced open, and multiple items were reported missing, including jewelry, cash, and other high-value belongings. The address has been linked to the Houston rhymer.
Thankfully, Slim, neé Stayve Jerome Thomas, wasn't at the residence during that time and he has yet to speak out about the incident. According to an update by TMZ, no arrests have been made as police are still investigating the incident.
This disturbing incident follows a growing trend of high-profile figures being targeted while away at public events.
Retired NFL star Richard Sherman recently endured an even more harrowing experience on his birthday when it was interrupted by a terrifying home invasion in Washington. The former Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers star revealed on social media that his home was robbed at gunpoint while his wife, Ashley Moss, and their two children were inside.
'House being robbed at gun point with my family in it isn't what anyone wants for a birthday gift,' he tweeted out on March 31. He called it a 'scary situation that my wife handled masterfully' and praised her for keeping their children safe. In an attempt to identify the suspects, Sherman shared images and video of the break-in—including footage of someone hurling an object at his security camera, which he later revealed was a phone the thieves had taken.

According to Sherman, police told him the group had hit at least five homes, and an active investigation remains underway.

LSU's Flau'jae Johnson admits friendship with Angel Reese has soured

Flau'jae Johnson and Angel Reese won a women's college basketball national championship together when the two players were with the LSU Tigers. However, it appears a lot has changed since then. Reese, who now plays in the WNBA for the Chicago Sky, opened up about her relationship with Johnson in September during an episode of her podcast, "Unapologetically Angel." She said at the time the two were not "as close as we used to be" and "there were no hard feelings" toward each other, but the closeness that was once there just is not anymore. Johnson added more to it when she appeared on "The Breakfast Club" on Monday. "We're not friends, but I mean that bond that we had, that thing that we did together, winning a national championship, you can never take that away from us," she said. "And so sometimes stuff happens. You wish it don't happen, but it do. And you just gotta grow. "But I support her in everything she do. Like, she's killing in the WNBA … I'm just proud of her." Johnson agreed that the reason for the split was partially to do with things happening in the background. "Yeah, it was a lot of media, it was a lot of locker room stuff, you know what I'm saying? Stuff that go on behind the scenes. But it happens. It happens," she said. During the 2023-24 season, as LSU looked to defend its national title, the mothers of both Reese and Johnson got into a social media spat. Reese's mother, Angel Reese Webb, criticized Johnson on social media, which prompted a response from Johnson's mom, Kia Brooks, who took aim at the former Tigers' forward GPA. Reese, the former LSU star, seemingly threw shade at Brooks when she graduated from school. Follow Fox News Digital's sports coverage on X, and subscribe to the Fox News Sports Huddle newsletter.

Austria school shooting leaves 8 people dead, officials say

Eight people were killed in a school shooting in Austria on Tuesday, officials said. The gunfire erupted at the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school in Graz, a city of about 300,000. Graz Mayor Elke Kahr said the suspected shooter died as well. Kahr described the events as a "terrible tragedy," the Austria Press Agency reported. The outlet added that the fatalities were seven students and one adult. Kahr also said many people were taken to hospitals with injuries. "The school was evacuated and everyone was taken to a safe meeting point," Austrian police wrote on X. "The situation is secure. No further danger is expected." "The reason for the operation was gunshots heard in the building," police added. Special forces were among those sent to the BORG Dreierschützengasse high school after a call at 10 a.m. local time. The suspected shooter is believed to be a student, according to the BBC. The motive of the attack is unclear. Graz is Austria's second largest city and is located in the country's southeast. In Brussels, European Union spokesperson Paula Pinho said that "we would like to offer our deepest condolences to the families of the victims and the entire city of Graz in Austria. And we stand together in mourning while we seek clarity in the wake of this horrible event in a school."
