Arab Finance: The exchange rate of the US dollar to Egyptian pound went down on Monday, hitting EGP 49.79 for buying and EGP 49.89 for selling at Banque Misr at 1:24 PM.
The US dollar also recorded EGP 49.79 for buying and EGP 49.89 for selling at the National Bank of Egypt (NBE) at 1:32 pm.
At the Commercial International Bank Egypt (CIB), the exchange rate hit EGP 49.79 for purchasing and EGP 49.89 for selling.

Egypt to get its first 25hours Hotel in West Cairo

Egypt is set to welcome its first 25hours Hotel, located within Junction, a new mixed-use business and lifestyle destination in West Cairo. The project is a collaboration between Majid Al Futtaim, a leading developer and operator of retail and leisure assets across the Middle East, Africa and Asia, and Ennismore, the global lifestyle hospitality company behind the 25hours brand. This marks the brand's debut in the Egyptian market. The hotel will feature around 250 keys, including both hotel rooms and 25hours Heimat branded residences. Junction spans over 129,000 square metres, comprising 13 office buildings, retail and food and beverage outlets. The development is designed to meet LEED Gold certification standards for sustainability. Majid Al Futtaim said the project is part of its wider strategy to develop integrated, future-ready environments in Egypt. Ennismore's 25hours Hotels are known for their design-led approach, drawing on local culture to shape their guest experience. The Cairo property will be the brand's first in the country. Egypt: Foodico's profits rise 32.87% YoY in Q1 2025

Arab Finance: Ismailia National Food Industries (Foodico) saw a 32.87% year-on-year (YoY) increase in its net profits after tax during the first quarter (Q1) of 2025, according to the audited financial statement on May 29th. Foodico achieved net profits after tax of EGP 42.433 million in the three-month period ended March 31st this year, compared to EGP 31.936 million in the corresponding period a year earlier. Net sales hit EGP 122.858 million in Q1 2025, up from EGP 78.082 million in Q1 2024. Foodico is an Egypt-based company engaged in the food industry.
