JOHN LEGEND and his wife Chrissy Teigen are practically US royalty.
He is a Grammy-winning singer and she's a hilarious TV star, model and author.

But now the A-list couple are considering packing in their life Stateside after falling in love with Blighty.
John explained in an exclusive chat with Bizarre's Howell: 'We love it here. Chrissy loves it and the kids love it.
'We spent our last Christmas here and two or three Christmases ago we were here as well.
'We like to be in a colder place. We don't like to be in Los Angeles for Christmas.
'It's too warm and sunny and we both grew up in a colder weather environment so it doesn't feel like Christmas if it's warm.'
Asked if that meant they would consider relocating here, he added: 'Yes, we would. I mean, especially now.
'We always talk about the possibility of moving to New York or London.
'Those are two cities that we would definitely consider living in. We love walking cities.
'There's something very appealing about both of them and Chrissy and I feel like we thrive in those kinds of environments, so it's something to consider for sure.'
The All Of Me singer is such a fan of the UK that he chose it as the place to kick off his Get Lifted — 20th Anniversary Tour.
AMERICAN music icon John Legend was left red-faced after reportedly playing to an 'empty' arena
He wowed the crowds during the opening night in Glasgow on Tuesday, where he wore a striking white suit.
Last night John performed in Manchester, ahead of Birmingham this evening and London's O2 Arena on Sunday.
The tour celebrates his 2004 debut album, which featured the massive hit Ordinary People.
John said: 'It's fun to reminisce about this time. I tell a few stories in the show.

John
'My last tour was like a solo show where I literally told stories the whole time. So this is a lot less of that and it's the full band and a lot more music.
'A lot more music'
'When I think about Get Lifted, I associate a lot of that early promo and those early shows with London and with the UK.
'I just remember playing the Jazz Cafe and those early gigs, and Ordinary People especially took off here.
'It's perfect that we start the tour here.' John is now somehow juggling a six-month tour with work on his 11th studio album.
He said: 'The way I'm approaching the next album is, how do I make that one the best one I've ever done?
'How do I collaborate with people who are going to make me better and bring out something special in me?

'That's what I'm going to focus on and the awards will take care of themselves.
'We've written a lot prior to this tour. Most of it's written.'
One thing you can't expect from John and Chrissy is a reality show, as he revealed they have turned down offers.
'Yeah, we've been approached,' he said. You know, she's very entertaining and I'm like her straight man.
'Every comic needs a straight man.
'I feel like we share plenty on social media and we like being in control of what we share.
So anything we would do on the unscripted side, it would have to be with us having control over what we share.
Bedroom encounters
'Shows are built around people arguing with each other. We're just not interested in that version.'
The couple now have four kids. But asked if they would like more, John said hastily: 'No. That was a quick answer. I'm all done.'
There's no doubt his soulful, sexy music has helped make plenty of other babies though.
Asked whether fans tell him about bedroom encounters with his tunes as the soundtrack, he said: 'Oh, so many awkward conversations.
'We hear about that. We hear about people getting married which is not as awkward.
'But either way, it just lets you know that you make music that is part of people's lives.'

Fears of a US recession force ultra-wealthy to bail on rentals in popular summer hotspot

The rich aren't biting this year — sparking concerns about the state of the economy. The super-wealthy, who flock to the Hamptons every summer to live in the lap of luxury, aren't spending tens of thousands per month to do so anymore. A rental crisis has hit the Eastern end of Long Island, as mansion rentals are down 30 percent this year, according to CNBC. And the luxury rental market that is usually booked every summer doesn't show any signs of improving. New York City residents — who make up the majority of Hamptonites — will likely miss their infinity pools, tennis courts, and ocean views. For ultra high-end rentals, brokers say their business is down between 50 percent and 75 percent. While some people may simply be holding out for better deals, brokers say renters are concerned about economic instability. 'People are holding on to their money,' said Enzo Morabito, head of the Hamptons-based Enzo Morabito Team at Douglas Elliman. 'They don't like uncertainty.' For example, one palatial seven-bedroom estate in Bridgehampton, which normally rents for $350,000 from July 20 through Labor Day, is still sitting empty, CNBC reported. Another 11,000-square-foot mansion in Bridgehampton has slashed its summer price tag from $450,000 to $375,000 in a desperate bid to lure renters. Experts say some would-be renters are simply holding out for last-minute bargains or have been turned off by the late season frost in the area. But brokers warn there's deeper trouble. Economic jitters, a turbulent stock market, and Donald Trump's tariffs are forcing wallets shut. The crisis marks a sharp reversal from January and February, when rental inquiries were flying in. But by spring — and with the arrival of tariff chaos — it was nothing but crickets. Luxury broker Gary DePersia of My Hampton Homes says what he's seeing is unprecedented, and that usually, the best homes go early. The super-wealthy who flock to the Hamptons every summer to live in the lap of luxury aren't spending tens of thousands per month to do so anymore 'This year, I have great rentals available in every town, from Southampton to Montauk,' he says. Some nervous landlords have started slashing prices by up to 20 percent. They're also offering concessions like shorter stays instead of full-summer commitments. Morabito warns that homeowners who rely on summer rentals in order to pay a year's long mortgage may now be rethinking their investments. He represents several homeowners with large waterfront properties that typically would have been rented by March or April, but that are still available. Despite the bad news, some brokers remain optimistic. Judi Desiderio of William Raveis Real Estate believes the combination of 'dark noise' out there financially and geopolitically, along with bad weather, was not good. But she thinks that last minute takers will show up and predicts everything will be gone by July 1. The rich and famous, like Christie Brinkley (pictured above), flock to Hamptons hot spots like Surf Lodge starting on Memorial Day weekend Meanwhile, the sales market in the Hamptons is also down by 12 percent. But, sales are still happening, despite the median home price hitting $2 million, a new record. One broker is closing on a big deal. 'I just had two Canadians put in a bid on an $18 million house — sight unseen,' Morabito said. Still, the rentals sit. 'I think a number of people have deferred decisions, or they weren't sure what they were going to do, go to Europe or the West Coast,' DePersia said. Famous residents of the Hamptons are heading to far more exclusive locales this year, too. Many celebrities and the super rich are instead making their way overseas. Jeff Lichtenstein, broker and CEO at Echo Fine Properties in Jupiter, Florida, told the Daily Mail that 'the uber-wealthy are changing it up this year,' adding that he's hearing about more people buying vacation residences in Portugal and heading to Spain on glamorous trips. These moneyed folks are visiting 'anywhere from Lagos to Carvoeiro overlooking the cliffs on the Atlantic to ultra new golf course communities within minutes of the Faro airport,' Lichtenstein said.

Kelly Bensimon appears to take brutal swipe at ex-fiance while gushing over new man she met on Hinge

Kelly Bensimon has opened up about the new man in her life—and appeared to throw a thinly veiled jab at her ex-fiancé, nearly a year after calling off their wedding. The former Real Housewives of New York star, 57, who was spotted packing on the PDA with Connecticut businessman Robert Flood during a recent date night in NYC, shared fresh details about the budding romance with Us Weekly. 'It's early days,' she told the outlet. But while gushing over Flood, Bensimon seemed to take subtle swipes at her ex Scott Litner, whom she abruptly split from just days before their scheduled June 2024 ceremony. 'He's a very, very nice human. Clearly, an adult. Well-educated. Well-mannered. Does very well for himself. Good father. He's a man,' she said of Flood. Bensimon revealed she met her new flame on the dating app Hinge, saying she was drawn to his 'authentic' profile photo—marking a departure from her previous stint on the celeb-heavy app Raya. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. But while gushing over her new man, Bensimon seemed to take subtle swipes at her ex Scott Litner, whom she abruptly split from just days before their scheduled June 2024 ceremony; seen in NYC in October 2023 'I've been on Raya for a long time,' she said. 'I think that one of the things that's really important when you're going on a dating app is to really present your own self… I was like, 'Oh, my God,' I found this one picture of [Flood] sitting there, white jeans on, these shoes, blue shirt on, and I was like, 'He looks like a guy I went to college with.'' Bensimon, who called of her wedding to former fiancé Scott Litner just days before their June 2024 ceremony said she's taking everything one day at a time. 'I definitely feel like it's much better this time because I am slowly easing into it,' she explained. 'I feel really healthy and I feel really good about the decisions that I'm making in my life and who knows what's going to happen in my future, but I'm just grateful for how I'm treating every day.' The real estate mogul, who shares two daughters Sea, 27, and Teddy, 24 - with ex-husband Gilles Bensimon, said Flood hasn't yet met her girls. 'When they're ready to meet him, they will definitely let me know,' she stated. The influencer said she isn't worried about her fame getting in the way of a future relationship. 'Do not ask your significant other if they cared about being in the public eye,' the model asserted, adding, 'And if you're asking them that question, they're not someone that you should be with.' Flood is apparently used to being on the edge of fame. A source told Page Six that the Managing Director of Truist Securities has previously dated podcast host Rachel Uchitel. Bensimon is comfortable with standing her own ground, claiming she called off the wedding to Litner because he refused to sign a prenup. In a statement to Page Six at the time, she expressed: 'I have decided that my two daughters are my priority and I won't be moving forward with this wedding.' Bensimon had also told People, 'Ultimately, my decision is nobody's business, but I understand that there is speculation and gossip, and I want to put an end to all of it. 'To be clear, he refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, and I refused to marry him. Full stop.' An accompanying statement also read: 'She was looking forward to an exciting new chapter in her life together with Scott when everything became clear to her late on Tuesday afternoon. '[He] refused to sign a prenuptial agreement, effectively stalling their engagement mere days before the wedding.' Bensimon further explained, 'He thought that I would enter this union without legal protections in place, that I would leave everything to faith. 'But I've worked really, really, hard as a single mother and have always made smart decisions for myself and my family, and that will continue.' The following month in July, Kelly also informed 'I'm obviously extremely disappointed, but it's not something that just happened. This is something that was building up over time and the prenup was a big deal for me. 'It's like when you're a single parent, whether you have thousands in your account or you have a 100 million in your account, women are going to need to protect themselves, and I'm just not going to take a risk.' She also talked about how her circumstance has 'opened a lot of doors' when it comes to having conversations about prenuptial agreements. 'It's about having personal respect and value, which I have. I'm raising two girls, who are really important to me. 'But the prenup is really important because it talks about more than just your own personal value,' Bensimon added. 'I guess the biggest takeaway from this is just about protecting myself and my friends and being a solid female that people can come to.' Kelly expressed, 'I've had so many people reach out to me and say, This happened to me…I just have so much empathy for them, and I try to be a solid sounding board for them...' Only two months after not going through with the wedding, the media personality had revealed to Page Six that she was stepping back into the dating scene. 'I'm not in a relationship. I am…happy to move forward with new possibilities... [I'm] having fun dating.'

Francisco Lindor (2 homers) leads Mets over Rockies

May 31 - Francisco Lindor hit two homers while David Peterson continued his strong season by tossing 5 2/3 solid innings and earning the win Friday night, when the host New York Mets beat the reeling Colorado Rockies 4-2 in the opener of a three-game series. Starling Marte also homered while the slumping Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Mets, who have won six of eight. Ryan McMahon laced an RBI double and Sam Hilliard hit a pinch-hit homer in his first big league at-bat of the season for the Rockies, who lost their sixth straight to drop to 9-48 -- the worst 57-game start in modern baseball history. Lindor, who entered the game with just eight hits in his last 51 at-bats dating back to May 14, hit a leadoff homer while batting right-handed against left-hander Kyle Freeland (0-8) and provided insurance with a round-tripper from the left side against right-hander Seth Halvorsen to open the eighth. The leadoff homer was the fifth of the season for Lindor while the two-homer game was his second of the season and the 21st of his career. Lindor also singled in the third and scored on Soto's two-out double. The hit snapped an 0-for-17 skid for Soto dating back to Sunday night. Peterson (4-2) allowed one run on five hits and one walk while striking out five over 5 2/3 innings. The left-hander, who was raised in Colorado, has allowed three runs or fewer in 10 of his 11 starts this season Peterson wriggled out of a bases-loaded jam in the second by retiring Thairo Estrada on a liner to a leaping Lindor at shortstop. That began a stretch of nine consecutive batters retired by Peterson, who exited after plunking Estrada, surrendering a single to Brenton Doyle and giving up McMahon's double in a three-pitch span. Huascar Brazoban gave up one hit -- Hilliard's homer -- over 1 1/3 innings before Reed Garrett threw a perfect eighth. Edwin Diaz struck out all three batters in the ninth to earn his 12th save. Doyle had two hits for the Rockies. Freeland gave up three runs on seven hits and no walks while striking out four over six innings. --Field Level Media
