
Gisborne waka bridge still closed as council talks with hapū continue
Gisborne's waka bridge remains closed as it proves a 'rather delicate issue' between Gisborne District Council and Ngāti Oneone.
The bridge, which crosses over Kaiti Beach Rd and is structurally completed with the exception of 'cultural elements', has been closed to the public since before Christmas.
