Drake launches his first eau de parfum, Summer Mink

Drake is launching his first eau de parfum.
The 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker has previously released candles and a perfume oil through his Better World Fragrance House company, but on Friday, he will bring out Summer Mink, which will cost $148 and debut via Ulta Beauty, and the product has been in the making for some time.
Matte Babel, chief brand officer of Drake's DreamCrew, told WWD: 'We've been going through scents for this for quite some time.
'When you launch your first fragrance, there's a ton of pressure on what it is, what it's going to smell like, and all eyes are on that category because it makes up the bulk of the business.'
Drake himself made the decision to move into eau de parfum.
Lori Singer, president of Parlux - who license the brand - said: 'That centered on Drake. Carby Musk was so special, but he felt he envisioned that in its purest form as an oil.

Ammanford under-12s named Scarlets Cup final winners

The team clinched a 22-0 victory for the Carmarthenshire Champions in the Scarlets Cup final at Parc y Scarlets, ending their season as double winners. The match saw the young squad face Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire/Ceredigion Cup winners, on Sunday, May 18. The game, marked by its intensity and physicality, saw Ammanford's defence shine, particularly in the first quarter, with strong tackles from Bryn Humphreys, Jayden Ratcliffe, Arjun Dale, and Seb Armstrong. This defensive pressure earned the team a penalty, converted by Tomi Maloney, putting the first points on the board. Ammanford's momentum built after a 75-meter break by Maloney following a turnover, and it was a well-executed training move off the lineout that led to their first try by Leo Danter. Centre Finn Chapman-Knight's strategic kick deep into Haverfordwest's 22 metres set up the move. The half ended with Ammanford leading 8-0. The second half saw Ammanford continue their strong form, with turnovers by Jayden Ratcliffe, captain Joey Shreeve, and Danter. Chapman-Knight maintained territorial pressure with his left-footed kicking. A scrum deep in the Haverfordwest 22 metres saw Danter pick up and score his second try of the match, with the extras added by Maloney to take the score to 15-0. Centre Cai Canton, demonstrating physical strength, forced another scrum deep into the Haverfordwest 22 metres. Impact players Oscar Jones, Evan Lewis, Aaron Morgan, and Scott Edwards forced a scrum against the head, with Maloney spotting a gap and chipping over the defence to score Ammanford's third try. With the extras added by Maloney, the score moved to 22-0. Despite Haverfordwest's continued efforts, the final whistle marked a victory for the Ammanford team, crowning them Scarlets Cup winners. A special note of thanks was given by head coach Rob Knight to the players, coaching team, and parents. He also extended his appreciation to the rugby community for their good luck messages, and to all the supporters who travelled to Parc y Scarlets to cheer the team on.

Llandeilo mum of twin girls diagnosed with terminal cancer

Tracey Ramsey, from Llandeilo, has revealed that her 31-year-old daughter, Penny Carpenter was diagnosed with metastatic metaplastic triple negative carcinoma of the breast with multiple lung metastasis and sternal disease. Despite the diagnosis, Penny wants to make everlasting memories with her daughters, Lilly-Jean and Frankie-Lin. Lilly-Jean and Frankie-Lin are two and a half years old. (Image: GoFundMe) Tracey said: 'She was first diagnosed with cancer when she found a lump in her breast in August 2023. I was devastated when I found out. My daughter was breastfeeding her twins when she realised there was a problem. 'She puts on a brave face on the outside, but she has her moments in private. Outwardly she smiles even though the illness is terminal. Next week she starts chemotherapy so she can spend more time with her girls. 'The first cancer she was diagnosed with didn't give her any symptoms. But once the cancer spread, she began feeling pain in her breastbone and shoulders. 'Penny tries to do everything she can for her two daughters even though she is in crippling pain. When the daughters see her in pain, they go behind her and stroke her back and hair because that's what they see me do.' Penny is just 31 years old. (Image: GoFundMe) The family initially started a fundraiser so Penny can do a range of fun activities with her daughters. But at the time of writing, £3,230 from 83 donations has been raised for Penny and the goal is now to leave the twins with a foundation and fund for the future. Penny is 'totally hands on with her daughters.' (Image: GoFundMe) Tracey continued: 'Penny is absolutely loving with her daughters. She is totally hands on. She sits with them when they are eating, and they are so attached to her. They are like an extension of each other. 'Penny and I are really close. We've had our moments as every parent has. But now we speak every single day, when I can't be with her physically. 'Currently, I come home for 12 days to work and then spend 12 days with Penny and the girls. But I want to spend more time with them. 'We are a really close family. Everyone was shocked by the news. Now everyone just wants to create great memories, and Penny has been overwhelmed by it all.'
