Arlo Willner, son of late-night ‘TV royalty,' sports black eye in court after allegedly slashing trio in NYC bar brawl
Nepo brat Arlo Willner, the 20-year-old offspring of late-night TV royalty, sported a nasty black eye in Manhattan court Thursday when he showed up to answer for a bar brawl that has him facing attempted murder charges.
Willner, sporting a dark suit and tie and a head of ruffled hair — along with a shiner on his right eye — attended the hearing with his mom, Sheila Rogers, an Emmy Award-winning roducer whose credits include David Letterman and James Corden.
He stayed mum during the brief proceedings, where prosecutors revealed they would be presenting the case to a grand jury on June 10.
Willner, who is due back in court July 17, is accused of slashing three men outside Sally's Bar in Kip's Bay early Saturday morning, according to prosecutors.

According to a criminal complaint, Willner allegedly went nuts around 3:30 a.m. when the trio shooed him away after he asked them to buy cocaine.
The men told him 'this was not the place for that,' the complaint said, and he allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed all three, including a 45-year-old victim who suffered a gash in the neck.
Willner was arraigned on attempted murder and assault charges Sunday and pleaded not guilty.
3 Police said Arlo Willner asked for cocaine outside Sally's Bar Saturday and slashed the victims when they rebuffed him.

He was quickly released on bail set at $100,000 cash or a $200,000 bond.
Willner and his mom refused to answer questions on their way out of court Thursday.
His father, the late Hal Willner, was a celebrated music coordinator for NBC's iconic 'Saturday Night Live' before his death in April 2020 from COVID-related symptoms.
Arlo Willner's birth in 2004 prompted a shout-out from The Post.

Sarah Snook wins Tony for Best Actress in a play for ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray' — two years after ‘Succession'
It's another success(ion) for Sarah Snook. The actress, 37, took home the award for Best Actress in a Leading Role in a Play at the 2025 Tony Awards on Sunday, June 8. Snook took on all 26 roles in 'The Picture of Dorian Gray,' the 1890 philosophical fiction and Gothic horror by Oscar Wilde. WireImage Snook originally won the Olivier Award for best actress in 2024 for her performance in the one-woman production in the West End. During her acceptance speech in April of the year, the 'Succession' star got candid about her mindset surrounding the play. Advertisement Snook recalled that a month before opening, she 'felt distant from the play and hadn't learned my lines. I just felt, 'What am I doing? Why am I doing a 60,000 word monologue with an eight-month-old baby?' I felt so stupid.' 'So I was doing a lot of night breastfeeding,' she continued. 'And in the evening when I would wake up then rather than being on my phone and feeding her, I would run over the lines. I find that if you learn your lines at night and then sleep on them they do go in more effectively.' 7 Sarah Snook took on all 26 roles in 'The Picture of Dorian Gray.' Just because 'Succession' is over, that doesn't mean Snook hasn't stayed tight with her former cast members. Kieran Culkin, 42, who is also starring in the Broadway show 'Glengarry Glen Ross,' did a drive-by in March on the way to his show. Bruce Glikas/WireImage Advertisement The Post's theater critic Johnny Oleksinski said the show was 'discombobulating. It's fantastical. And, in the end, it's crushing.' Of Snook, he said the actress 'brings that same infectious grin' from 'Succession' to Broadway, calling her 'hilarious and haunting as, well, everybody.'

Helen Hunt on why she's rejecting Hollywood beauty standards
Helen Hunt on why she's rejecting Hollywood beauty standards Helen Hunt may be Hollywood royalty, but she's no beauty queen. The Oscar-winning actress, 61, opened up about the inner turmoil she's experienced in the entertainment industry due to Hollywood's intense beauty standards in a June cover story for Flow Space. Hunt, best known for her roles in the sitcom "Mad About You" and acclaimed dramas "As Good as It Gets" and "Twister," rose to fame in the 1990s when celebrity tabloids routinely scrutinized stars' physical appearance. "It felt impossible not to internalize the way you're supposed to look," Hunt reflected. "And (there was) a certain amount of misery and shame around not looking exactly that way." While Hunt rarely discusses the image pressures of being in Hollywood, she said she eventually reached a turning point. "I realized, 'This could quietly ruin your whole life.' I made a decision: I'm not playing. Not going to (let it) take up a lot of space in my mind," she said. Hunt added that the self-help book "The Only Diet There Is" by Sondra Ray was helpful in shifting her perspective on food and body image. "What I took from it is eat what you want and love every bite, period," she said. Justine Bateman embraces getting older: How to feel beautiful and accept aging The Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress isn't the only female veteran to get candid on rejecting beauty standards. "Baywatch" alum Pamela Anderson and actress Justine Bateman have spoken out about embracing aging and stepping out in makeup-free looks. In a 2023 interview with "60 Minutes Australia," Bateman, who'd become the subject of online commentary over her "old" looks, defended her aged appearance and said cosmetic procedures "would erase" the authority she's gained over the years. "I like feeling that I am a different person now than I was when I was 20," Bateman said at the time. "I like looking in the mirror and seeing that evidence. ... I think my face represents who I am. I like it.'
