
Major crash blocks UC Davis off-ramp from I-80
The off-ramp to the UC Davis campus from Interstate 80 is closed early Tuesday afternoon as officers investigate a crash.
The crash happened a little before 1 p.m. along the westbound side of the freeway.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, but California Highway Patrol is warning drivers that the UC Davis offramp will be closed for an unknown amount of time.

Drivers trying to get to the UC Davis campus should exit at Richards Boulevard prior to the crash scene, or take Highway 113 and exit at Hutchinson Drive.

A three-vehicle crash blocked traffic on Highway 101 through San Luis Obispo on Wednesday, slowing the evening commute, the California Highway Patrol said. A gray Toyota Sienna, a black SUV and a blue pickup truck crashed at about 4:52 p.m. on northbound Highway 101 near the Madonna Road off-ramp, the CHP traffic log said. Emergency responders shut down the Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of northbound Highway 101 to respond to the crash. Traffic passed through the area on the off-ramp, the CHP said. The CHP did not know whether the crash resulted in injuries as of 5:15 p.m. A Caltrans highway camera showed traffic slowed to a crawl through the area.

Fire erupts in Mira Mesa garage
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A fire broke out in a garage Wednesday in Mira Mesa. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 11700 block of Westview Parkway, according to the San Diego Police Department. When authorities got to the scene, they found a vehicle fully engulfed in the garage. Thieves stealing gas from cars in North Park The occupant of the home evacuated prior to the arrival of first responders.
