
CBB announces coverage of monthly treasury bill issue
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the BD35 million monthly issue of Government Treasury Bills, No. 2067 (ISIN BH0002T98521), has been fully covered.
The bills, issued on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, carry a maturity of 182 days, starting on May 4, 2025, and maturing on November 2, 2025.
The weighted average rate of interest was 5.38%, compared to 5.28% for the previous issue dated March 23, 2025.
The average discount rate was 97.350%, with the lowest accepted price at 97.270%. The issue was oversubscribed by 132%.
With this issuance, the total outstanding value of Government Treasury Bills stands at BD2.110 billion.

CBB Government Development Bond issue 40 oversubscribed by 203%
The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announces that the issue of the 3-year Government Development Bond has been oversubscribed by 203%. Subscriptions worth BD 507.802 million were received for the BD 250 million issue, which carries a maturity of 3 years. The fixed annual coupon rate on the issue, which begins on May 29 and matures on May 29, 2028, is 6.125%.
