Andhra Pradesh Transport Minister Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy on Tuesday had darshan of Goddess Nadiveedhi Gangamma in Chittoor. Mr. Ramprasad Reddy, who is also the Minister in charge of the Chittoor district, offered prayers at the temple on the occasion of the ongoing jatara.
Mr. Ramprasad Reddy was accompanied by Chittoor MLA Gurazala Jaganmohan while the temple trustee and former MLA CK Babu offered Prasadam to the minister. Later, the Minister also offered prayers at the temples at Murukumbattu and Doddipalli villages.
A host of MLAs, MLCs and other elected representatives have also offered prayers.

Addressing the villagers, Mr. Reddy said that resolving people's problems on a priority basis is the highlight of the TDP-led government. He alleged that residents of the Rayachoti Assembly constituency were hit by several hardships due to long pending issues during the previous YSRCP government, but they are happy now as the coalition government is addressing their issues. Mr. Reddy said that many complaints from the Annamayya district were regarding irregularities and land grabbing during the previous government. Such complaints are immediately being forwarded to the concerned officials for action, the Minister said. He said that he would be available to the public and have direct interaction with them to understand their concerns and directed the officials to resolve several appeals on the spot.

Minister for Transport, Youth Affairs and Sports Mandipalli Ramprasad Reddy on Saturday urged the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders, cadre and sympathisers from Annamayya district to participate in the Mahanadu conclave in large numbers. Addressing the party cadre at a preparatory meeting at Galiveedu mandal headquarters, Mr. Reddy underscored the importance of the three-day Mahanadu scheduled in Kadapa district for the first time from May 27 to 29. 'I expect every family member of the TDP from Annamayya district to attend and make the Mahanadu a stupendous success,' he said. Elaborate arrangements were underway, which included food and logistical support, at Ramapuram for delegates traveling via Rayachoti of Annamayya district, he said. Mr. Reddy highlighted the developmental works initiated in Annamayya district, particularly in the Rayachoti Assembly Constituency. 'The Rayachoti region, which faced perennial backwardness, is now on the path of rapid progress at multiple fronts in just six months under the coalition government,' the Minister said. The Minister said that several pending works related to drinking water in rural areas were being addressed promptly and an action plan was ready to bring Velugodu project waters to Rayachoti town. 'The works on the Mandipalli Nagireddy Srinivasapuram reservoir are progressing on a war footing to address the drinking water needs of Rayachoti region,' he said. Meanwhile, he also hoisted the party flag and paid tributes to the portrait of TDP founder N.T. Rama Rao.

Kakinada: Minister for Excise and Mines Kollu Ravindra stressed the importance of preserving Sanatana Dharma, Vedas, and India's rich cultural traditions. He stated that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has been consistently highlighting this message. The minister visited the famous temple of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy in Annavaram on Thursday. He was warmly welcomed at the temple's main entrance with traditional temple honours by Executive Officer Subbarao and other officials. After offering prayers to Lord Satyanarayana, the minister received blessings from Vedic scholars and was presented with Prasadam and a portrait of the deity by the temple authorities. Minister Ravindra also inspected several key facilities on the Satyagiri hill, including the Smartha Agama Patashala (Vedic school), Nakshatra Vanam, and the solar power plants. Speaking to the media, he conveyed his prayers for divine blessings for CM Naidu, who is working tirelessly for the state's development and the people of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the temples play a vital role in safeguarding and promoting cultural heritage. 'Daily Annadanam (free meals) is being provided in 21 temples across the state,' he said. He praised the Annavaram temple's initiatives in education and service activities, including the Agama Patashala, where 48 students are currently undergoing Vedic studies with scholarship support. The minister appreciated the temple's strict adherence to ritualistic traditions and lauded the quality and sanctity of the Prasad. He expressed happiness over the temple's daily practice of feeding nearly 5,000 devotees and commended the grandeur of regular rituals like Satyanarayana Vratams, Nitya Kalyanams, and other religious services.
