One shopper took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share a snap of the flamingo trees in the store.
"£10 Salix flamingo trees in Wrexham B&M," they wrote.
Someone else posted a picture of their flamingo tree in full bloom, as they said: "Eight years ago mine started off like one of these.
"They are lovely trees - I have 3, this one is my biggest."
"Just got my 2 plants today, good deal," another added.
"I've just got 1 today - got the smaller 1 last year, bought the bigger 1 today," someone else said.
"Only the big stores with the garden centres have them," another commented.
"Got mine yesterday," someone else raved.
"Mission for the weekend - find a B&M with one of these!" another wrote.
"I'm having one this year," someone else vowed.
I made a DIY fence for £68 with pallets from Facebook Marketplace - it gives more privacy & people say it's 'fantastic'
While others used the comments section to share their gardening advice, and questions.
"These are thirsty trees, need to be watered daily," one warned.
"When you plant this do you take the fur thing off which is under the soil? I know it's a silly question," someone else asked.
To which another replied: "I took mine off one of mine last year... it died.
"I replaced it yesterday and the lady told me to leave on as protects from frost."
According to garden centre Dobies, the Salix flamingo trees are perfect for adding a "splash of colour" to the garden, and are perfect if you've got a smaller green space thanks to their compact size.
"This Salix is at its best from March until May, a subtle yet powerful explosion of colour to keep your eye on," they said, adding that as Autumn approaches, it changes to show off "fantastic warm orange tones... continuing the ultimate display".
It's said to grow to around 2 metres high, and also spreads to approximately two metres as well.
"Grow in a sunny or partially shaded position, in any well drained soil," they added.

Pro garden designer reveals 69p hack that will kill green flies without using any nasty chemicals to harm your plants

The remedy can be found in your kitchen WASH THIS Pro garden designer reveals 69p hack that will kill green flies without using any nasty chemicals to harm your plants Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) IF your garden is looking a bit of a mess and you want to ensure it looks fresh, you've come to the right place. It turns out that there's a nightmare pest that may be living in your garden - and it could be the reason why your grass and plants are ruined. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 2 You may spot aphids clustered on the stem of soft shoots – look under leaves in particular Credit: Getty 2 Pollyanna Wilkinson, right, shared how to banish the pest without harming your garden Credit: The Ins & Outs Podcast Aphids are extremely common and can impact plant growth. They have tiny soft pear-shaped bodies, and are usually green or black. You may spot them clustered on the stem of soft shoots – look under leaves in particular – or may find a sticky substance on your plants that gives away aphids have been there sucking at the sap. But while there's no need to be alarmed, it's best to identify the problem as soon as possible - and luckily, a gardening whizz has come to rescue with a wallet-friendly solution. Speaking on her podcast, The Ins & Outs, Pollyanna Wilkison responded to a listener who had written into the show how to banish the common pest from their birch tree. The gardening designer said: ''We're getting a lot of questions about how to get rid of aphids and it's a tricky one. ''Because on the one side, I want to say to you aphids are actually amazing forage for loads of really important insects - ladybugs, hoverflies, parasitoid wasps all eat aphids. ''They will be eaten by these guys if you leave them alone.'' However, if you're dealing with ''an absolute infestation'', there's something you can use - and it's already in your kitchen. According to Pollyanna, green-fingered Brits can use washing-up liquid - which you can snap up for around 65p from your local supermarket. The £14.50 Wickes buy people are swearing by to get rid of weeds on their driveway for GOOD She explained in the podcast: ''The best thing you can do is put some washing-up liquid in a spray bottle and spray everything. ''That's not going to hurt anything. ''Whatever they breathe through, it blocks it and then they die.'' Keep pests out all summer IF you want to ensure that your home is pest free this summer, here's what you need to know. Hornets and wasps - hate the smell of peppermint oil so spraying this liberally around your patio or balcony can help to keep them at bay. Moths - acidic household white vinegar is effective for deterring moths. Soak some kitchen roll in vinegar and leave it in your wardrobe as a deterrent. Flying ants - herbs and spices, such as cinnamon, mint, chilli pepper, black pepper, cayenne pepper, cloves, or garlic act as deterrents. Mosquitoes - plants, herbs and essential oil fragrances can help deter mozzies inside and out. Try eucalyptus, lavender and lemongrass. ''We're not here for the pesticides - the washing-up liquid will do it absolutely fine.'' The gardening whizz also recently shared the common decoration she hates - hanging baskets. 'Hate them. I effing hate hanging baskets. 'And the reason I hate them is much the same reason that I hate small pots.' She shared the first reason for this is that she doesn't think they are 'very attractive as a vessel.' Pollyanna explained on the episode: 'You can tend to see the plastic inside because it's got a plastic liner, because otherwise, obviously the water is going to go through. 'And I don't like seeing plastic in the garden. 'And also the body of soil that a hanging basket holds - unless it's those amazing ones outside the Ritz, which are just the most extraordinary thing I've ever seen, but those are the sides of a beach ball - it's just, it's this tiny little dish of mud.'

Putin warns Trump he ‘will have to respond' to Ukraine's daring drone attack in hour-long phone call with president

VLAD VOWS REVENGE Putin warns Trump he 'will have to respond' to Ukraine's daring drone attack in hour-long phone call with president Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) VLADIMIR Putin has warned Donald Trump he 'will have to respond' to Ukraine's daring drone strike on Russian airfields, the US president revealed. In a dramatic post on Truth Social, Trump said the Russian tyrant issued the warning during a 75-minute phone call where the pair discussed rising tensions in Ukraine, as well as Iran's nuclear ambitions. 'President Putin did say, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airfields.' The call, confirmed by the Kremlin, follows Operation Spiderweb — a daring Ukrainian drone blitz that wrecked 41 Russian planes across four strategic airfields, in a coordinated assault likened to WWII's most audacious missions. Newly released footage from Ukraine shows drone after drone spiralling down onto Putin's nuclear bomber fleet, turning the aircraft into flaming wrecks. In one dramatic clip, a drone hones in on a bomber while another lies burning nearby. In another, a row of bombers blazes along the runway. Ukraine's intelligence service, the SBU, deployed 117 kamikaze drones, each with its own pilot, targeting the Olenya, Belaya, Dyagilevo, and Ivanovo-Severny air bases — deep inside Russian territory. The swarm of drones was launched from shipping containers hidden in plain sight, with Russian lorry drivers unknowingly parking them next to military bases. As civilians watched in disbelief, the containers cracked open and unleashed the aerial assault. Ukraine said the cost to the Kremlin could reach $7 billion (£5.4bn), wiping out a major chunk of its long-range aviation fleet, including Tu-95MS and Tu-22M bombers and A-50 spy planes. Popular children's cup sold at Matalan for £3 urgently recalled over ‘risk of eye injury'

Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) A POPULAR children's cup sold at Matalan for £3 has urgently been recalled as it poses a "risk of eye injury". Matalan has recalled its Blue Easter Tumbler Cup with Straw over safety fears, warning it could pose a serious risk to children. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 1 Shoppers who bought the Bunny Tumbler with Straw are urged to stop using it immediately Credit: Matalan The £3 cup features a bunny wearing sunglasses, with ears sticking out from the lid. It poses an injury risk, as users could accidentally be poked in the eye by the pointed ears. The sought-after Matalan cup does not meet the requirements of the General Product Safety Regulations 2005, according to the government's website. Shoppers who bought the Bunny Tumbler with Straw are urged to stop using it immediately and return it to their nearest Matalan store for a full refund. Those with further queries can contact Matalan's Customer Care Team on 0333 0044444 or email customercareceo@ It comes after the retail giant urgently recalled three children's clothing products over a "risk of being strangled". Matalan made the decision after deciding that a number of boy's swim shorts posed a serious risk to kids. The recall affects the blue shark rash vest and shorts worth £12 on the website at the time of writing. The other two products recalled were the seersucker swimshorts in blue and the boys tie dye swimshorts. Parents were urged to take the faulty items away from little ones and return them "immediately" to a Matalan store. 'Contaminated' Costco snack recalled as 'small pieces of wood' are found inside it – eight products are affected All three products could cause entrapment and strangulation, warned the retailer. Matalan stressed that no receipt will be required to claim the refund. Matalan said: "It has come to our attention that the above boys' swim shorts do not meet our usual high standards for quality and safety, as there is a high possibility of entrapment and strangulation with the draw cord." The company also urged customers who bought the swimwear as gifts to inform others about the recall notice straight away. It added: "If you have bought the above for someone else or know someone who has one then please let them know immediately about this notice." Matalan apologised for the inconvenience caused to shoppers and confirmed that the recall does not affect any other products. The retailer added: "We pride ourselves on delivering great quality at great prices, and we're really sorry for any inconvenience caused." This follows the owners of a dysin gair styling dupe warning shoppers of its danger - with the potential to overheat and/or explode. And a popular children's swimming float has been urgently recalled over fears it could cause serious injury or even drowning.
