Inc. ('Transat') at yesterday's annual and special meeting of shareholders. Transat's board of directors consists of Ms. Geneviève Brouillette, Ms. Lucie Chabot, Ms. Valérie Chort, Mr. Robert Coallier, Mr. Daniel Desjardins, Ms. Susan Kudzman, Mr. Stéphane Lefebvre, Mr. Bruno Matheu, Mr. Ian Rae, Ms. Julie Tremblay, and Ms. Annick Guérard, President and Chief Executive Officer of Transat.

MAZDA CANADA REPORTS SALES FOR MAY 2025

RICHMOND HILL, ON, June 3, 2025 /CNW/ - Mazda Canada Inc. (MCI) today reported May sales of 7,946 vehicles, representing an increase of 15.0 percent versus May 2024. Sales year-to-date (YTD) are 32,830, which is an increase of 24.0 percent compared to the same period in 2024. MAY 2025 HIGHLIGHTS: CX-30 finished the month with strong results, up 52.2 percent year-over-year, and set a new all-time monthly record. CX-90 continues to perform well, topping last year's figure by 27.9 percent and setting a new benchmark for May sales. Mazda3 sales were up 6.5 percent compared to the same time last year. CX-5 sales gained over last year's total, finishing the month up by 16.7 percent. S&P/TSX composite down in late-morning trading, U.S. stock markets move up

TORONTO — Canada's main stock index was in the red in late-morning trading, weighed down by losses in the telecom sector, while U.S. stock markets climbed higher. The S&P/TSX composite index was down 22.21 points at 26,366.75. In New York, the Dow Jones industrial average was up 105.66 points at 42,411.14. The S&P 500 index was up 24.73 points at 5,960.67, while the Nasdaq composite was up 142.76 points at 19,385.37. The Canadian dollar traded for 72.90 cents US compared with 72.96 cents US on Monday. The July crude oil contract was up US$1.28 at US$63.80 per barrel and the July natural gas contract was down four cents US at US$3.65 per mmBTU. The August gold contract was down US$27.20 at US$3,370.00 an ounce and the July copper contract was down two cents US at US$4.84 a pound.
