Russia condemns U.S. strikes on Iran
Ammon News - Russian President Vladimir Putin on Monday condemned the U.S. and Israeli attacks on Iran ahead of a meeting with Iran's top diplomat, describing the strikes as 'absolutely unprovoked,' but he has so far stopped short of any more concrete measures to assist Russia's regional ally.
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi flew to Moscow on Monday to meet Tehran's key ally after Russia's Foreign Ministry condemned the U.S. strikes on Iran as a reckless and dangerous escalation and a 'blatant breach of international law.'
'The unprovoked aggression against Iran has no grounds and no justification whatsoever. For our part, we are making efforts to assist the Iranian people,' Putin said in public comments before his talks with Araghchi.
Araghchi thanked Putin for Russia's condemnation of the attacks, describing the Israeli and U.S. attacks as a 'completely illegitimate' breach of international law. Washington Post

VIDEO: 'Israeli' strike targets Iran's Evin Prison
Iran's judiciary has confirmed that 'Israeli' missile strikes on Monday damaged parts of Tehran's notorious Evin prison, a facility long known for housing political prisoners, activists, and dual nationals accused of state-related offenses. 'In the latest attack by the Zionist regime on Tehran, projectiles unfortunately struck Evin prison, causing damage to parts of the facility,' read a statement from Mizan Online, the official news outlet of Iran's judiciary. While authorities did not provide details on the extent of the damage or whether there were casualties, the report noted that emergency teams were swiftly deployed to contain the situation. The statement assured the public that all resources had been mobilized and that the situation remained 'under control.' Evin Prison, located in the northern Evin neighborhood of Tehran, was built in 1972 and has gained international notoriety since the 1979 Islamic Revolution. Often cited in human rights reports, the facility has become a symbol of the Islamic Republic's crackdown on dissent. It is regularly used to detain journalists, political dissidents, human rights defenders, and foreign nationals accused of espionage or anti-state activity.

UN nuclear watchdog: Iran must let IAEA inspectors return to nuclear sites
The head of the United Nations nuclear watchdog has called on Iran to immediately restore access to its nuclear facilities, warning that the lack of oversight raises serious concerns about the country's growing stockpile of highly enriched uranium. Speaking at an emergency meeting at the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) headquarters in Vienna on Monday, Director General Rafael Grossi said, 'To be able to return to the negotiating table, allow IAEA inspectors, the guardians on our behalf of the NPT, to go back to Iran's nuclear sites and account for the stockpiles of uranium,' referencing the reported '400 kilograms enriched to 60 percent.' Grossi's plea comes in the aftermath of coordinated military strikes by 'Israel' and the US targeting key components of Iran's nuclear program. Over the weekend, US forces hit three nuclear sites in Iran, joining 'Israel's' ongoing campaign against Tehran's atomic infrastructure. The IAEA chief also revealed that Iranian authorities had informed him in a letter dated June 13 about the implementation of 'special measures to protect nuclear equipment and materials.' While Iran has framed the move as a precaution amid security threats, Grossi warned that continued exclusion of IAEA inspectors risks further destabilizing already fragile international diplomacy.
