"Called Easyjet and they told me nothing can be done on the phone only on the live chat. "Now I can't start a new chat as my old one is already open and it doesn't allow me although it's disappeared from my phone." "Please help me Easyjet this is our last holiday abroad as my mum's MSD is progressing," she added. "We are only here for a couple of days and it's ruined. "How on earth can this wheelchair break during transit in the hold? Beyond devastated. We had every reason to be nervous about this flight." When approached for comment, an easyJet representative told The Sun Online: "We are very sorry for the damage caused to Ms. Thomas' mother's wheelchair during transit and for the difficulty she experienced trying to get in touch with us. "We understand how important it is for our customers to feel confident that essential items like this will be well cared for when travelling with us. "We are urgently looking into this with our ground handling partners." Imogen revealed her mother's motor neurone disease in January last year, six months after the initial diagnosis. Imogen went on to explain that she and Janet have decided to speak out publicly for several reasons. The star, who has two daughters of her own, said they are keen to raise awareness of MND and also hope Janet will be able to connect with others "who understand what she is going through". They added they were inspired to go public with the diagnosis after Coronation Street aired a storyline where character Paul Foreman had the disease. Motor Neurone Disease, which currently has no cure, is a rare disease that affects the brain and nerves, and causes weakness that gets worse over time. It slowly robs patients of the ability to walk, talk and eat, although every sufferer is different. 5 Janet and Imogen spoke out about the diagnosis last year Credit: imogenthomas/Instagram 5 Janet has been living with motor neurone disease since 2023 Credit: imogenthomas/Instagram

'And so it was that I ended up spending the most wonderful, inspiring, insightful, love-filled fortnight on St Mary's Valentine Ellis and Zachary Cope wards, waiting for my surgery!' Sebastian noted: 'I have never been treated with such kindness, care, respect, sensitivity and love, nor have I ever seen such professionalism and compassion shown so consistently by anyone to everyone, ever.' Radio DJ announces he's quitting show and his last show is on Friday

BRIAN Dowling has announced he is leaving his radio show after over two years – with his last day coming on Friday. The former Big Brother star has been hosting The 6 O'Clock Show on Ireland's 98FM since 2023, joining Suzanne Kane. 6 6 Kane had been part of the team since 2021, taking over from Dublin Talks with Adrian Kennedy and Jeremy Dixon. Now both have announced they will be leaving the 98FM show, posting separate lengthy and heartfelt goodbyes on Instagram. Brian shared pictures from their office as he wrote: 'I made the decision earlier in the year that I would not be continuing co-hosting on Brian Dowling & Suzanne Kane on @98fmdublin making this Friday June 6th my very last show on Brian Dowling & Suzanne Kane.' Paying tribute to his co-host and his children, he continued: 'When I joined Suzanne back in March of 2023, I had ZERO radio hosting skills. Blake 🩷 was only 6 months old & baby Blu was only a twinkle in our eyes 🩵 'It took me a minute to get into my new groove, but when I did, WOW, I honestly have had the best time & have genuinely laughed every day; even on those bad days, being part of this show ALWAYS puts a smile on my face.' 'Here we are now 2 years & 3 months later & I'm still laughing & smiling. I have learned so much about an industry I've been in for nearly 24 years, presenting mainly television shows but now my love for radio easily equals my love for telly.' Sending 'a massive heartfelt thank you' to his team, Brian said: 'It has never ever felt like work; I mean, how could it when I'm playing the likes of Britney, S Club & JLO, to name but a few 😂 "I am so looking forward to a slower Summer; I'm not actually sure if I can operate on a slower pace 😜 " 'Normality will continue on Six and of course, shooting the rest of The Salvage Squad this summer, as well as some trips away I've planned; in fact, it's turning out to be a very memorable Summer 😍' Suzanne later wrote a message of her own, calling it 'a little life update' and confirming she was leaving her 10am to 1pm slot. Brian Dowling shares proposal nightmare 'Anyone who knows me, will know how much I adore radio and the Bauer family inside Marconi house, but for now, it's time to let the 'Good Times' roll for someone else,' she said. She later added: 'To everyone who listened to the show. I loved sharing my life and my kids with the soundest listeners on 98FM. "We've been through a lot together & thank you for always turning up for me, it means more than any of you will know.' 6 6 6
