In an era where television often leans heavily on spectacle,

actor

believes in a more grounded approach. Playing Sunny in the

's show, Summit emphasizes storytelling over superficial polish.
'I believe the glamour quotient should serve the story, not overshadow it,' he says. 'In Ram Bhavan, the focus is on realism, emotion, and relatable characters.' Set in a small-town backdrop, the show aims to reflect the understated yet poignant lives of its characters. For Summit, the authenticity of Sunny's world is what draws viewers in, not glossy distractions.
The actor also highlights the importance of evolution within a long-running narrative.

'Introducing new elements is essential to keep the audience engaged, but they need to feel organic,' he explains. 'Twists and surprises work best when they arise naturally from the character's journey.' Summit credits the show's writers for maintaining this balance, incorporating hidden motives and evolving relationships without losing sight of the show's core.
Playing Sunny has required Summit to continually re-engage with the character.

'A twist isn't just a plot device—it's an emotional shift,' he shares. Whether it's a family dispute or a moral challenge, each new turn adds depth to Sunny, and Summit approaches every change with thoughtful attention. 'I reflect on how he would truly feel, what his actions or silence mean, and how it aligns with his values.'
Adapting to these shifts isn't always seamless. 'It's both exciting and challenging,' he admits.
'When the shift is sudden or intense, it demands recalibrating Sunny's emotional compass.' Still, he sees this as the craft's true reward.
While audience reaction does bring a layer of pressure, Summit keeps his focus on emotional honesty. 'There's a responsibility when you know the audience is attached to the character,' he acknowledges, 'but if the change is grounded and truthful, I trust the viewers will follow.'
Ram Bhavan may not rely on glamour, but its emotional depth—and Summit's steady hand—are clearly at the heart of its resonance.

Sadia Khateeb on celebrating Eid-ul-Adha in Kashmir with family: Eid ki raunak pata chalti hai yahaan

Sadia Khateeb, who was seen in The Diplomat with John Abraham this year, adds, 'Last Eid I was in Mumbai without my dad, and I felt so sad. I decided that next Eid I'll make sure I'll do it with my family, and now I am here. I'm also meeting my dad after a very long time and this is the best time to do it.' She also reveals the spiritual importance the day holds for her: 'This is a very pure and pious month. On this day, you are supposed to be as kind as possible. And for me, it has always been a day when God is asking all of us to get together.' Still a child at heart, Sadia insists that Eidi is the most exciting part of the day for her. 'The first thing I ask my chachus even today on Eid is Eidi. There's an accountant working on loop in my mind and I love people who give me Eidi. In the last few years, I have started giving Eidi to the younger generation in my family, and it makes me wonder when did I become an adult? Eidi is just a feeling to make you feel young,' she quips. However, the actor admits that celebrating Eid with her family in Kashmir after the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor makes it all the more important. 'What has happened has bought so much fear in my heart. It was a very hard time for all of us. I am meeting my dad after eight months, and so much has happened in this time. For me, Eid is all about my papa now,' she says, asserting the importance of the day in Kashmir: 'Raunak aur khushi kisko bolte hain wo pata chalta hai yahaan is din.' While the attack did create a sense of fear regarding Kashmir tourism, Sadia requests people to come visit there. 'What has happened is very sad, but at the same time, there is no place like Kashmir that can give you joy like it can. One tragedy cannot define the whole city or the whole community. So, I want people to go and experience Kashmir, not for the city, but for themselves. All of us should go there and spend time for ourselves in that beautiful place. It's all safe,' she ends.

Kuldeep Yadav engaged to Vanshika; wedding likely in November, confirms coach Kapil Pandey

Indian bowler Kuldeep Yadav got engaged to his childhood friend Vanshika in Lucknow on Wednesday. The couple, who hail from Kanpur, exchanged rings in the presence of close family and friends. Among the guests were cricketer Rinku Singh and his to-be fiancée, MP Priya Saroj. Kapil Pandey, Kuldeep's coach since 2004, tells us, 'They have known each other since they were children but probably became closer after Kuldeep's U-19. Vanshika is a bright girl and was in Melbourne (Australia) for her higher studies.' He also shares the tongue-in-cheek blessing for the couple with us: 'In my aashirwad, I said, 'Yeh Chinaman (left-hand spinner) hai aur tum leg spin dalna aur phir googly daal kar bowled kar dena.'' Kapil says the ceremony was delayed after the Indian Premier League (IPL) was stalled due to Operation Sindoor. He adds, 'The IPL has just ended and the England tour will start soon, so players couldn't join. The wedding will be finalised on an auspicious date, probably in November. A starry turnout is expected.' Priyanka's father Yogender Singh works with Life Insurance Corporation of India. Centrum hotel's owner Sarvesh Goel confirms, 'Yes, this was scheduled to be a big affair but was toned down after the IPL got pushed. As per discussion with Kuldeep's father the wedding will probably be held in Mussoorie probably in November followed by a big reception at our hotel. The date is yet to be locked.' Photos from the engagement ceremony went viral on social media. From her official X handle, Priya Saroj shared: 'A forever in the making — heartfelt congratulations to Kuldeep Bhaiya and Vanshika (sic)!' Kapil reveals that Kuldeep is focused on the Test series and was 'sweating it out till the day before the engagement. Kuldeep is in good form, and we are expecting a good show from him in the upcoming Test series. He did well in the IPL with 15 wickets in 14 matches and wish he carries on from this for Team India in the long format (Test match) of cricket from June 20.'
