Tyrese Haliburton reveals how girlfriend and ‘Love Island' are part of injury rehab
Jalen Brunson isn't the only NBA star captivated by a certain reality TV dating show.
Speaking to ESPN on Thursday after taking down the Thunder in Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton revealed how watching 'Love Island' with girlfriend Jade Jones has been part of his recovery from a strained right calf.

'My girl, Jade, is staying on me to keep doing the treatment when the people aren't there, she wants to watch 'Love Island' right now and she's like, 'Before we put it on, we've got to put something on the calf,'' said Haliburton, who scored 14 points in Indiana's 108-91 win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse to force a Game 7.
Jones, who has supported Haliburton, 25, throughout the Pacers' playoff run, later verified her boyfriend's remarks.

Though unclear if Haliburton and Brunson, 28, have exchanged 'Love Island' takes, the two recently clashed in the Eastern Conference finals, where the Pacers finished the Knicks in six games.
Haliburton has been grappling with injuries to his right leg, which were spotlighted Monday in a forgettable Game 5.
He is averaging 17.7 points, 5.6 rebounds and 9 assists this postseason.
Game 7 is set for Sunday night in Oklahoma City.

Inside the numbers: Pacers, Thunder set to play Game 7 for NBA title on Sunday night
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — For the 20th time, there will be a Game 7 in the NBA Finals. Indiana will play at Oklahoma City on Sunday night in the final game of the season, with the winner getting the Larry O'Brien Trophy. Home teams are 15-4 in Game 7 of the finals, but a road team — Cleveland, over Golden State — won the most recent of those games in 2016. A look inside some numbers surrounding this matchup: Odds are, nobody's scoring 40 There have been only two 40-point scoring performances in Game 7 of the NBA Finals — and both came in losing efforts. Jerry West scored 42 points in Game 7 of the 1969 series, but the Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics in Bill Russell's final game. And Elgin Baylor scored 41 points in Game 7 in 1962 — another Lakers-Celtics matchup — but Boston prevailed in that one as well. Bob Pettit had the third-highest scoring total in a Game 7. He had 39 for the St. Louis Hawks against the Celtics in 1957 ... and Boston won that game as well. The highest-scoring Game 7s in a winning effort? Those would be by Boston's Tom Heinsohn in that 1957 game against St. Louis and Miami's LeBron James in the 2013 series against San Antonio. B.C. Lions quarterback Rourke ‘questionable' for rematch with Bombers due to injury
SURREY - The B.C. Lions may be without their No. 1 quarterback when they face the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Saturday. Nathan Rourke suffered a core injury against the Bombers in Winnipeg last Thursday and left midway through the fourth quarter after throwing for 249 yards with one touchdown and one interception. The 27-year-old Canadian was replaced by Jeremiah Masoli, who tossed for 84 yards with an interception as the Lions (1-1) lost 34-20. Rourke's participation in practice was limited on Tuesday, and he did not join his teammates on the field at the team's facility in Surrey, B.C., on Wednesday or Thursday, working instead with training staff on the sidelines. He was listed as questionable for the game in B.C.'s injury report on Thursday. Masoli is expected to replace him as starter against Winnipeg (1-0). The 36-year-old American signed with the Lions as a free agent in February following three seasons with the Ottawa Redblacks and eight with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
