JON JONES has sent UFC fans into a frenzy by revealing he has an agreement in place with Tom Aspinall.
The pair, 37 and 32 respectively, have been on course for a historic heavyweight title unification bout since last November.

Their mammoth melee, however, has yet to come to fruition - despite the UFC's meeting of Jones' demands to be paid "F**K YOU MONEY."
MMA fans have been left on tenterhooks by Jones over the last few weeks as the former pound-for-pound king has toed and froed with the prospect of retirement.
The Hall of Famer claimed last month that UFC brass are aware of his plans and insisted he's not holding Aspinall back in any way, shape or form.
And during a recent seminar in Phuket in Thailand, he claimed he and Aspinall have agreed not to divulge any details of their proposed fight or the future of the division before the UFC.
In a video from the seminar, a fan asked Jones: "When are you fighting Tom?"
The former long-reigning light-heavyweight king replied: "I was waiting for it.
"The UFC, I, and Tom we all have a lot of stuff happening behind the scenes. They're one of the biggest organisations in sports.
"Right now, Tom and I have agreed to wait for the UFC to make their announcements, so I legally can't really talk about it.'

Jones' comments came just days after a recent interview in which he admitted he's undecided about his fighting future aired.
During an appearance on Deepcut with VicBlends, he said: "I don't know what life holds as far as fighting and competing.
"I do feel like I'll be a lifelong martial artist whether I'm coaching others or taking exhibition matches and things like that.
Tom and I have agreed to wait for the UFC to make their announcements."

"Being in my position, I feel like I have a lot more options than a lot of the other fighters as far as the ability to leave and return.

Jones hasn't set foot inside the octagon since his Madison Square Garden mauling of Stipe Miocic at UFC 309 last November.
Wigan warrior Aspinall, meanwhile, has been on the sidelines since his 60-second demolition of Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304 last July.

With the fight just around the corner, Cejudo has voiced his concerns on the Pound 4 Pound podcast, revealing that he has heard O'Malley is focusing solely on his jiu-jitsu and neglecting his get-ups. In the first encounter, Dvalishvili scored six takedowns and had 10 minutes of control time on 'Suga' and was able to control O'Malley for large chunks of the fight. Speaking about the upcoming fight, Cejudo said: 'The biggest thing with O'Malley is, did he formulate his camp correctly? There's a lot of birdies out there. I'm gonna say it, here on Pound 4 Pound. 'He's just working jiu-jitsu. He's not working his get-ups, his stand-ups. He's not investing in his camp. He's not bringing in guys for money…it's true, it's one hundred percent true. [Money] shouldn't be [an issue]. But to him, he just wants to keep everything — I don't know, maybe he's cheap. He just wants to keep everything in house,' Cejudo added. 'When you do that, Kamaru, s**t gets out there. That's the only reason why I know. People, listen to me, bet the house [on] Merab Dvalishvili.' UFC commentator Joe Rogan also discussed the fight on The Joe Rogan Experience and believes O'Malley may struggle again in the grappling exchanges. "That's an interesting fight. Very interesting fight. I do not know how 'Suga' Sean keeps that guy off of him... He's a f****** animal," Rogan said of Dvalishvili. Rogan added: "That guy's superhuman. There's no one like him. The cardio that guy has is off the charts. It's just off the charts. I've never seen anything like it. He doesn't get tired. He's full gas, no brakes the entire fight. The Brit has seemingly given up on a fight with the undisputed heavyweight champion and is now hoping to stay active inside the cage this year Tom Aspinall has his sights set on a busy end to the year and has expressed his frustration over the delay in securing a fight with Jon Jones. The interim heavyweight champion has been out of action since his win over Curtis Blaydes last July and is eager to get back in the octagon. Despite a challenging year waiting for Jones - who secured the undisputed title by submitting Ciryl Gane in 2023 and defended it against Stipe Miocic last November - Aspinall is ready to move on. Jones has teased staying on for another fight, but Aspinall suspects he's hung up his gloves and is eyeing other opportunities. The Wigan warrior told TNT Sports: "I'm sick of talking about myself, I mean, I think it's pretty clear to see that Jon Jones has retired, he doesn't want to fight me. We wish Jon all the best in the future, of course, but we want this heavyweight division active. "We want to give these contenders a chance to fight, we wanna have a defending champion, don't we? Why is this division so stagnant all the time? Let's make the heavyweight division great again and have an active defending UFC heavyweight champion, let's move on. I'm ready to fight, I wanna get two fights in before the end of the year so that's what we're doing. We finally have some movement, Jones has had a great career, I respect him, we know what he's done... Have a good life, we move on." It seems as if Aspinall has fully moved on after stating that 'Bones' is retired. Earlier this week, when asked about the agreement by UFC legends Daniel Cormier and Chael Sonnen on the Good Guy / Bad Guy podcast, the Brit said: "Nah man, Jon is retired. What are you talking about guys? "You guys don't follow Jon on social media? Me too [I don't follow him]. But the guy is living his best life. He's had a fantastic career, we all know. We know Jon's a religious man, so I want to say God bless him moving forward in what he does in his life and his career. "We move on. I'm the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world. I'm ready to take on all comers, get this division moving again. Us guys have been waiting around too long, the contenders are getting sick of it, everybody is getting sick of it, even the fans are getting sick of this stuff. So Jon's retired and it's time that we move on." If Aspinall has in fact moved on, the UFC faces a challenging task in finding a suitable opponent for the British fighter. The most logical match-up for Aspinall at this point would be Gane - who narrowly won his last fight against Alexander Volkov in December via a split decision.
