The renewed agreement, which started in 2014, ensures that the company's flagship sports channels, beIN SPORTS, continue to deliver unparalleled coverage of the ATP Tour, including all ATP Masters 1000 events, all ATP 500 events, certain ATP 250 events and the season-ending Nitto ATP Finals.
The ATP Tour features the world's best players competing across more than 60 events in 30-plus countries every season. beIN SPORTS will bring all the top ATP Tour action to the MENA region, as well as to subscribers in Australia and Southeast Asia, where the network also holds exclusive broadcast rights.

We look forward to continuing to work with beIN SPORTS over the coming years.'
With the ATP Tour remaining a part of beIN SPORTS' extensive sports portfolio, this agreement solidifies its position as the leading destination for tennis fans in the region. beIN SPORTS is the only broadcaster in MENA with exclusive rights to both the ATP and WTA Tours, alongside all the other Grand Slams. Exeed Industries signs MoU with Partanna Oasis to explore sustainable cement solutions in the UAE

Partnership aims to establish carbon-negative cement production in Abu Dhabi, advancing country's green construction goals Exeed Industries, a leading industrial group in the UAE, has signed an MoU with Partanna Oasis, a subsidiary of Partanna, a global innovator in sustainable building materials. The MoU initiates a collaboration aimed at introducing carbon-negative cement technologies in the UAE. The MoU emphasises a joint intention to assess and plan for the establishment of facilities in Abu Dhabi to locally produce Partanna's next-generation cement alternatives. Both parties will strategise for the establishment of a brine conversion facility, a tolling facility, and a cement production plant, enabling the commercialisation of Partanna's products in the UAE. Partanna's carbon negative building materials, made without traditional Portland cement, not only eliminate carbon emissions but actively remove CO₂ from the atmosphere, offering a pioneering approach to sustainable construction. Traditional Portland cement is responsible for 9 per cent of global CO₂ emissions. As part of this collaboration, both parties will work together on certification processes, performance testing, and alignment within regulatory frameworks. The scope also includes evaluating applications across the UAE's construction sector, with integration into Exeed's precast and concrete operations. 'We are excited to join forces with Partanna to champion green innovation in construction,' said Mohammad Alameer, group CEO at Exeed Industries. 'This partnership aligns perfectly with our sustainability objectives and the UAE's industrial decarbonisation goals.' 'This is an important milestone in our mission to scale global access to climate-positive construction materials,' added Rick Fox, CEO of Partanna. 'The UAE is a strategic market and global leader in sustainable construction, and Exeed's deep industrial expertise makes them a match winning partner.' The MoU reinforces both companies' commitment to innovation, sustainability, and long-term value creation.

Sport's Growing Grip on MENA Media

With CABSAT 2025 set to spotlight the convergence of sport, streaming and strategy, the region's media economy is being redefined from hyper-local fan coverage to global rights battles, and from grassroots passion to platform innovation. There's an unusual energy rippling through the Middle East's broadcast and streaming landscape – a sense that the game is changing, both literally and figuratively. Sport, in particular, has become a compelling force, not just for audiences but for those bringing it to them. From international rights deals to hyper-local fan engagement, sport is opening commercial doors and reconfiguring the media economy. Smashi Sports, for instance, has tapped into grassroots passion, venturing into club-level coverage in the UAE to capture local content. At the other end of the spectrum, we see mega-rights deals being snapped up, aligning the Middle East with global viewership trends and creating both opportunities and challenges around monetisation, localisation and scale. Until recently, that space was largely the domain of beIN Sports. But as our cover story this month reveals, evision and StarzPlay are making a huge impact, particularly in the world of cricket. It's against this backdrop that CABSAT takes place this year. The show has become a convergence point for technology, creativity and strategy, with vendors, broadcasters and content platforms looking to the future together. As content consumption habits evolve and sport continues to attract new investment, I'm excited to be moderating a panel at CABSAT focused on the role of sport in driving broadcast innovation. It's a timely conversation that reflects the pace, complexity and promise of the market we serve. But that's just one of many conversations shaping the region that will be explored at CABSAT. In the meantime, the third edition of the BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards returns this year with a brand-new Satellite element. These awards have become an important platform for innovation, visibility and recognition, particularly for those pushing boundaries without the marketing muscle to make themselves heard. I hope you participated in the awards. If not, there's always next year.
