Stephanie Hsu, Annie Murphy among Tribeca Festival jurors

May 22 (UPI) -- Joyride actress Stephanie Hsu, Schitt's Creek star Annie Murphy, The Nickel Boys author Colson Whitehead and Ferris Bueller's Day Off actor Matthew Broderick are among the jurors who will name the winners of the Tribeca Festival in New York City.
"We're proud to welcome an eclectic group of jurors to this year's Tribeca Festival. Their breadth of expertise across genres will be instrumental in recognizing standout storytellers and honoring bold new voices around the world," said Tribeca Enterprises executive Nancy Lefkowitz in a statement.
The festival, which runs June 4 to the 15, honors storytelling mastery across 15 categories.
Jurors also include Jennifer Beals, Nia DaCosta, Ilana Glazer, Art Linson, Kyle MacLachlan, Mira Sorvino, Marianne-Jean Baptiste, Sheila Nevins and Alek Karpovsky.
Winners will be announced during the June 12 ceremony.

June 2 (UPI) -- Samantha Sloyan and Summer Howell will officially star in Prime Video's Carrie series based on Stephen King's novel. Based on the Stephen King novel, the TV adaptation hails from the Haunting of Hill House creator Mike Flanagan. Sloyan (The Life of Chuck) and Howell (Curse of Chucky) will portray controlling mother Margaret White and her daughter Carrie, a bullied teen with telekinetic powers, respectively. Other cast members include Matthew Lillard, Alison Thornton, Thalia Dudek, Siena Agudong, Amber Midthunder, Josie Totah, Aruthur Conti and Joel Oulette. Carrie was previously portrayed by Sissy Spacek and Chloe Grace Moretz in 1976 and 2013 film adaptations, respectively. The Prime Video series is penned by Flanagan.

Look: 'Bold and the Beautiful' star Jack Wagner marries Michelle Wolf

June 2 (UPI) -- Jack Wagner, an actor known for General Hospital, The Bold and the Beautiful and When Calls the Heart, has married singer-songwriter Michelle Wolf. Wolf shared the news Saturday on her private Instagram account, according to reports from People and Us Weekly Monday. "We did it!!!!!! MARRIED in front of our little family!! #MrAndMrs," Wolf captioned photos from the wedding. Wagner and Wolf have been together since 2021, People reported. Wagner and his ex-wife Kristina Wagner split in 2006. The pair had two children together -- Peter and Harrison, who died in 2022. Jack also has a daughter, Kerry. Wolf's daughter, Ornella, attended the nuptials, per Us Weekly. Wagner portrays Nick Marone on The Bold and The Beautiful and will reprise the role beginning June 13.
