Briefing the press on Thursday, Madhubani superintendent of police (SP) Yogendra Kumar said that no valid visa/travel document were found on the apprehended Chinese nationals, identified as Wu Helong (38) and Sheng Jun Yong.
Both individuals are presently under the custody of Harlakhi police. An FIR was lodged against them at Harlakhi police station on Thursday under section 14/14(b) of Foreigners Act, 1946.
The SP said the security agencies are investigating the unauthorised entry of the Chinese nationals into the Indian territory, and if needed, help from the central agencies would also be sought.
Harlakhi station house officer (SHO) Anup Kumar said that as per the SSB's forwarding report, the two individuals were caught while they were making videos along the Papraun-Jatahi international border.
He said, according to the documents seized, Wu, a resident of Dalian City in Liaoning Province, was born on Feb 24, 1987. "His passport number is EL9961400, and his father's name is Shen Zhong Ming. Initial investigations revealed that Wu arrived in Kathmandu on March 14 on a tourist visa, valid until June 11, 2025, with an extension till July 11, 2025.
After visiting Kathmandu and Pokhara, he reached Janakpur on May 26 and was staying at a hotel.
Sheng met Wu during his visit to Pokhara, after which the two travelled together to Janakpur. Sheng arrived in Kathmandu from Shanghai via a connecting flight from Chengdu on Feb 27. His tourist visa, initially valid until May 27, 2025, was extended until June 26, 2025. Sheng had previously visited Nepal between March 27 and May 29, 2024, to meet his girlfriend," said the SHO.

During interrogation by the SSB and Harlakhi police, Wu disclosed that he was a video blogger, and created content for social media platforms. Wu also admitted to borrowing 10,000 yuan from Alibaba to support his vlogging endeavours.
A search of Wu's phone, however, revealed over 50 anti-India and pro-Khalistan videos, all downloaded from internet after May 7. While no evidence has been found so far indicating that Wu posted these videos on his social media accounts, he claimed they were downloaded to boost his viewership and followers, said police sources.

Video: Colorado Terror Suspect Confronted By Public After Fire Bomb Attack
Quick Read Summary is AI generated, newsroom reviewed. The FBI has named Mohamed Sabry Soliman as a suspect in a targeted terror attack in Boulder, Colorado. He injured several people with a makeshift flamethrower during a demonstration for Israeli hostages. Washington: The FBI has identified Mohamed Sabry Soliman as a suspect behind a "targeted terror attack" in Colorado, which left many people with burn injuries. Multiple videos have gone viral showing shirtless Soliman holding bottles filled with liquid in his hands after attacking people at a demonstration in Boulder, where a group gathered to remember the Israeli hostages held in Gaza. The 45-year-old can be heard shouting, "End Zionists!" "Free Palestine!" and "They are killers!". The video also showed some people confronting him after the attack. Pro-Hamas supporters should be categorized as domestic terrorists!! — Jammles (@jammles9) June 1, 2025 Mohammad Soliman just lit a bunch of elderly Jews on fire in Colorado while shouting "Free Palestine" Police: "Too early for a motive" — End Wokeness (@EndWokeness) June 1, 2025 Solimon was later handcuffed by a policeman and taken into custody. An official said he used a makeshift flamethrower in the attack. A witness told the news agency Reuters that she saw four women lying or sitting on the ground with burns on their legs. One of them appeared to have been badly burned on most of her body and had been wrapped in a flag by someone, she said. Officials said that at least six people were injured in the attack that took place at a popular pedestrian mall in Boulder, where demonstrators with a volunteer group 'Run For Their Lives' had gathered to remember the Israeli hostages who remain in Gaza. The White House said President Donald Trump has been briefed on the incident. FBI Director Kash Patel called it a "targeted terror attack," while Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said it appeared to be "a hate crime given the group that was targeted." Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said he did not believe anyone else was involved. "We're fairly confident we have the lone suspect in custody," he said. The attack comes days after a Chicago man shot dead two Israeli embassy employees -- Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim -- in Washington. The man, identified as Elias Rodriguz, yelled "I did it for Palestine, I did it for Gaza" after the shooting. He was later arrested. The war in Gaza began when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, killing some 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking 250 hostages. Israel's military campaign has killed over 54,000 people in Hamas-run Gaza, mostly women and children, and displaced nearly 2 million people.

Many Injured After Man Throws Fire Bomb, Shouts 'Free Palestine' In US
Washington: Police said a male suspect was taken into custody on Sunday after an attack that left multiple people with burns in Boulder, Colorado, in what the FBI director described as a "targeted" act of terror. FBI Assistant Director for Public Affairs Ben Williamson said on X, a social media site, that the suspect "shouted 'Free Palestine' while throwing fire bombs at a crowd of Jewish people." FBI Director Kash Patel described the incident as a "targeted terror attack," and Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser said it appeared to be "a hate crime given the group that was targeted." The FBI has identified the suspect as 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Solima. But Boulder Police Chief Stephen Redfearn said earlier in the day that information on the attack, which occurred near a demonstration to remember the Israeli hostages who remain in Gaza, was "very preliminary." "This was a beautiful Sunday afternoon in downtown Boulder on Pearl Street and this act was unacceptable," he said. "I ask that you join me in thinking about the victims, the families of those victims, and everyone involved in this tragedy." Pro-Hamas supporters should be categorized as domestic terrorists!! — Jammles (@jammles9) June 1, 2025 The incident comes amid heightened tensions in the United States over Israel's war in Gaza, which has spurred both an increase in antisemitic hate crime as well as moves by conservative supporters of Israel led by President Donald Trump to brand pro-Palestinian protests as antisemitic. His administration has detained protesters of the war without charge and cut off funding to elite US universities that have permitted such demonstrations. Brooke Coffman, a 19-year-old at the University of Colorado who witnessed the Boulder incident, said she saw four women lying or sitting on the ground with burns on their legs. One of them appeared to have been badly burned on most of her body and had been wrapped in a flag by someone, she said. She described seeing a man whom she presumed to be the attacker standing in the courtyard shirtless, holding a glass bottle of clear liquid and shouting. "Everybody is yelling, 'get water, get water,'" Coffman said. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, a prominent Jewish Democrat, said he was closely monitoring the situation. "This is horrifying, and this cannot continue. We must stand up to antisemitism." The attack follows last month's arrest of a Chicago-born man in the fatal shooting of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington, DC Someone opened fire on a group of people leaving an event hosted by the American Jewish Committee, an advocacy group that fights antisemitism and supports Israel. The shooting fueled polarisation in the United States over the war in Gaza between supporters of Israel and pro-Palestinian demonstrators. Colorado Governor Jared Polis posted on social media that it was "unfathomable that the Jewish community is facing another terror attack here in Boulder." Redfearn said he was not able to identify the suspect yet, noting that he had been taken to hospital. He added there were multiple injuries among the victims, ranging "from very serious to more minor." Is Boulder suspect Mohamed Soliman an illegal immigrant? What we know so far
Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, has been identified as the man who attacked a crowd near the Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday. According to authorities, Soliman threw Molotov cocktails at a group participating in a peaceful pro-Israel demonstration, injuring at least six people. He was taken into custody at the scene. As of now, no formal charges have been announced. While officials have not released additional personal details about the suspect, Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin reported that Soliman is an Egyptian national who allegedly entered the United States on August 27, 2022, via Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa. According to Melugin, the visa was valid through February 26, 2023, but Soliman reportedly overstayed and remained in the country illegally. 'Three senior DHS sources tell Fox News hat the Boulder terror suspect is an Egyptian national in the US illegally as a visa overstay who entered the U.S. during the Biden administration. I'm told Mohamed Sabry Soliman arrived at LAX on 8/27/22 on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa with an authorized stay through 2/26/23, but he overstayed & never left,' Melugin wrote on X. 'I'm told on 9/29/22, he filed some sort of claim with USCIS, potentially an asylum claim, and on 3/29/23, USCIS under the Biden admin gave him work authorization, which expired on 3/28/25.' Official confirmation from the Department of Homeland Security is still pending. Unverified social media reports also claim that Soliman worked as an accountant at Veros Health. Screenshots allegedly taken from his now-deleted LinkedIn profile have circulated online, though this information has not been confirmed by authorities.
