Lugris, who recently wrapped up his senior season with the Nittany Lions, got into 34 games this year, scoring four goals and adding eight assists for 12 points. Over a total of 95 career NCAA games, Ludris collected 16 goals and 17 assists for 33 points.

A product of Buffalo, N.Y., Ludris spent parts of two seasons with the NCDC's Jersey Hitmen before heading off to the NCAA, accumulating 75 points in 69 games.
With Ludris off to play in Ligue Magnus, he will be testing his talents in France's top pro league. Having played a solid depth role for Penn State this past season, look for Ludris to be a contributor for the Jokers.

Early Mock Draft Urges Stunning Decision For Steelers Offense
Early Mock Draft Urges Stunning Decision For Steelers Offense originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Pittsburgh Steelers got younger in the backfield during the offseason, adding Iowa running back Kaleb Johnson in the third round of the NFL Draft back in April. Johnson joins Jaylen Warren as the team's top anticipated ball carriers in what should be a run-heavy offense in the Steel City once again. Advertisement In fact many of the reporters out of Pittsburgh through OTAs and minicamp have been glowingly positive with regard to Johnson. Given the physical limitations of quarterback Aaron Rodgers, the Steelers will need a steady run game to ease his burden. But one early mock projection for the 2026 draft is predicting the Steelers to gloss over Johnson and add another ball-carrier very early. Ryan McCrystal of Sharp Analysis has the Steelers taking Penn State running back Nicholas Singleton in the top 15. "There is no Ashton Jeanty in next year's draft class, but the 220-pound Singleton might be close with his blend of size and speed. His 41 receptions last year also proved he could be a factor in the passing game." Based on all the reviews of Johnson from Pittsburgh thus far, this seems awfully dismissive to a player who could have a major impact on the offense from the jump. But even in the scenario where Johnson has a letdown year, why would the Steelers use a first-round pick on a running back? Advertisement That's not to say Singleton will not be a talented prospect when the time comes. However, the Steelers' future in the backfield should be secure enough to hold off on those potential needs and address a more pressing position on the roster. Training camp and the preseason will provide the first samples of Johnson in action and the Steelers will get a true evaluation for their budding star. So for now, the focus rests on what Johnson provides and what him and Warren can accomplish this season. Related: Steelers $132 Million 'Sweet Deal' With D.K. Khalil Taylor, who has an offer to Notre Dame, doubles down on Penn State
Notre Dame received its first piece in the Class of 2027 last week with the pledge of long snapper Sean Kraft, but it doesn't appear it'll beat Penn State out for a highly sought wide receiver. Nittany Lions commit Khalil Taylor doubled down on his pledge to go to State College, saying he is "locked in" to head to Happy Valley. He made the comments at the Under Armour Next Future 50 in Florida. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Seton LaSalle (Pittsburgh, PA) product is considered the third-best prospect in the state of Pennsylvania, per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. Notre Dame just offered Taylor, and he has offers to visit other major schools as well. But, at least for now, Penn State will be his future home. Notre Dame has seemingly had Penn State's number recently on the recruiting trail, though. The Fighting Irish recently received pledges from safety Joey O'Brien and cornerback Khary Adams as well as offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh. So the Irish could afford to lose a battle to the Nittany Lions here and there. Bills 'Shiny New Toys' Noted As ESPN Evaluates Major Moves On Defense
Bills 'Shiny New Toys' Noted As ESPN Evaluates Major Moves On Defense originally appeared on Athlon Sports. With a league MVP at quarterback, a veteran offensive line, and a respected coaching staff, the Buffalo Bills believe they have all they need to compete for a Super Bowl. Advertisement There is still one central question for the defending AFC East champions, though. Can the Bills' defense finally match up well against the conference's best teams? Buffalo's defense has undergone a major transformation over the last few seasons. They have said goodbye to aging veterans and replaced them with younger talent. During the 2025 offseason, the Bills added key veterans along the defensive line and secondary to help bolster their young group. While appearing on One Bills Live this week, ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler commended the organization for their defensive improvements this offseason. Advertisement Especially with how dominant their offense should be. "It's fun to get the shiny new toy on offense, but, really, when you dig down into it, this is a team that needed to replenish on defense," Fowler said. "From just a depth standpoint, an explosion standpoint, maybe a pass rush explosion standpoint, players with an edge, getting some new ideas in there, some new life." Free agent additions like Michael Hoecht and Joey Bosa should complement a defensive-heavy draft class led by Deone Walker and Maxwell Hairston. Will it be enough to get the Bills over the hump in the AFC? That question remains unanswered at this moment. Buffalo is certainly younger than in recent years on the defensive side, and if they can play at a high level, they should be able to match up nicely against the Kansas City Chiefs or Baltimore Ravens. Advertisement Any inconsistencies, though, and the Bills will be in a challenging situation this season on the defensive end.
