This luxury hotel near Miami Beach just opened its first classic steakhouse
When is a burger bar no longer a burger bar? When it is transformed into an upscale steakhouse.
That's exactly what is happening at the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, which has just turned its burger spot BH Burger Bar into a classic steakhouse, BH Prime.
The restaurant is the first steakhouse concept at the luxury resort, which has been a Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond property for 13 consecutive years. With a classic atmosphere — red leather banquettes, white tablecloths, dark wood — the restaurant seats 38 diners inside and 20 outdoors.
Led by executive chef and Florida native Adrian Colameco, the kitchen focuses on steakhouse classics like a prime boneless ribeye that's finished tableside in what can only be described as a dramatic smoking presentation, as well as Japanese wagyu New York strip.
For those looking for a seafood option, there's miso-glazed sea bass with coconut ginger sauce and baby bok choy as well as ora king salmon with Castelvetrano olives and fregola sarda.
The restaurant also boasts a raw bar, where you'll find chilled jumbo shrimp, oysters, a seafood tower and more. There are also soup and salad options, including roasted rainbow carrots with spiced Greek yogurt, cilantro pumpkin seed pesto, artichoke, avocado and lemon thyme vinaigrette.
And in case you missed the word 'luxury' earlier in this story, know that the restaurant has an exclusive caviar program in partnership with Petrossian, offering guests access to the world's most exceptional selections, from Tsar Imperial Ossetra to Royal Daurenki.
Burger lovers need not despair, though: You can still find burgers at BH Prime. Priced $28-$29, they're of an elevated nature, like the bison burger topped with maple pepper bacon, cambazola cheese and a sweet and spicy Buffalo Trace barbecue sauce; a brisket burger with a brisket patty and short rib; or The Champ, Argentine chorizo with provolone cheese, chimichurri, roasted tomato and cilantro garlic sauce.
Colameco calls the menu 'timeless yet globally inspired.'
'With the menu at BH Prime, we set out to create a true steakhouse experience,' he said. 'We're marrying the traditions of a classic steakhouse with refined techniques and flavor profiles that reflect both my roots and the international energy of our St. Regis guests.'

The White House has not confirmed the conversation, and the president, who is in New Jersey this weekend, hasn't posted about the call on Truth Social. The two presidents agreed to strive toward reaching a mutually acceptable trade agreement, including on tariffs. Trump has imposed 10% baseline tariffs on most trading partners. On April 2, Trump said the Republic of Korea would face a 49% duty but one week later he paused it for three months along with the other worst offenders in the trade imbalance. South Korea's tariffs on imported agricultural goods average 54%. Trump congratulated Lee on his election victory, and the new leader expressed his gratitude, according to the office. Lee noted the importance of the alliance, which forms the foundation of Seoul's diplomacy. The phone call was "conducted in a friendly and candid atmosphere," as they shared anecdotes and experiences from their election campaigns, according to South Korea's presidential office. They exchanged views on their assassination attempts last year and political challenges, in addition to discussing their their golf skills and agreed to play a round together. Trump invited Lee to the White House and the Group of Seven summit in Alberta, Canada, from June 15-17. South Korea is not a G7 member state, but the nation attended them group's meetings in 2021 and 2023. Korea's neighbor, Japan, is a member of the G7. Yonhap reported the South Korea government is in consultations for Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba and Chinese President Xi Jinping to speak to their leader. It has not been decided whether Lee will attend the North Atlantic Treaty Organization leaders' summit in the Netherlands on June 24 and 25, according to the presidential office.
