Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe hospitalised with acute gastroenteritis

Real Madrid say forward Kylian Mbappe has been hospitalised with acute gastroenteritis.
The 26-year-old missed his side's Club World Cup opener against Al Hilal on Wednesday due to the illness.
Madrid confirmed in a statement on Thursday that Mbappe had been taken to hospital the previous day, where he will remain for tests and treatments.

When asked about Mbappe's health on Tuesday, head coach Xabi Alonso said: 'Kylian was feeling a bit better in the morning, but not good enough because it's too hot. We're going to wait for him until the last moment, we'll decide tomorrow.'
However, after Mbappe was unable to feature in Wednesday's 1-1 draw, Alonso said: 'I don't know if Mbappe will be back for the next game (against Pachuca on Sunday). We'll see. He wasn't doing well in the last two days. He's sick.'
Mbappe featured in both of France's Nations League games earlier this month.
In Mbappe's absence, Alonso opted to start 21-year-old striker Gonzalo Garcia who, prior to the Club World Cup, had made just six senior appearances for Madrid.
The Spanish striker scored 25 goals in 36 games for Real Madrid Castilla last campaign, in addition to one goal for the senior side in the Copa del Rey in February.
Garcia scored the game's opening goal at the Hard Rock Stadium on Wednesday before Ruben Neves levelled from the penalty spot for the Saudi Pro League side.
After Sunday's game against Mexican side Pachuca in North Carolina, Madrid finish the Club World Cup group stage in Philadelphia against Red Bull Salzburg next Thursday.
