‘Tell the truth': Cruz Beckham speaks out with cryptic message amid family feud

David Beckham's youngest son has spoken out and left the most telling sign yet of the feud that's reportedly tearing the family apart at the seams. Tensions between Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, and Brooklyn's parents have been ongoing since their wedding in 2022. Things have come to a head in recent months, with Brooklyn and Nicola failing to attend his father's 50th birthday celebrations, and not being seen with the family in months. Now, Brooklyn's youngest brother, Cruz, has appeared to urge one of the clan to 'tell the truth' in a telling post on Instagram which he shared publicly. Written on top of a blurry picture that appeared to be his forehead and hair was: 'It takes 43 muscles in your face to frown, and 17 to smile. Be kind and tell the truth.' Sadly for David and Victoria, the bitter feud is showing no sign of coming to an end, with Brooklyn and Nicola flying into London earlier this week for work. Despite being just miles from his family home, the couple reportedly neglected to tell them they were even in the country at the time. Meanwhile, Nicola and Brooklyn's 2022 Florida nuptials were overshadowed by rampant rumours the bride was feuding with Victoria over her and Brooklyn's first dance, her wedding dress and more. Brooklyn denied the rumoured rift in a Variety interview, claiming 'everyone gets along, which is good.' Peltz, similarly, insisted there was 'not a feud' that same year while pointing out that 'no family is perfect.' The young couple has not been pictured with Brooklyn's parents or siblings since Christmas. 'In some ways, this is no surprise, but I guess no one could believe they would actually snub David's 50th when there were so many events they could have gone to, or ways to spend time with the family … their behaviour has been appalling,' the source said. Brooklyn failed to turn up for any of his father's festivities, which culminated in a star-studded party in London on Saturday night with guests including Tom Cruise. 'David and Victoria always turn up for Brooklyn and Nicola,' the source told Page Six, 'Whether it's for the launch of his hot sauce brand or her movie premiere. This is just very sad.' 'Brooklyn's family adores him and will always be there for him. They just can't deal with this nonsense anymore,' the source said. 'David and Victoria just want Brooklyn to remember who he is because this behaviour isn't him and isn't how he was raised.'

UK comedian and actor Russell Brand pleads not guilty to rape and sex assault charges

British actor-comedian Russell Brand has pleaded not guilty in a London court to charges of rape and sexual assault involving four women more than two decades ago. Brand, once one of Britain's most high-profile broadcasters and the former husband of US pop singer Katy Perry, appeared at Southwark Crown Court and denied all five criminal charges on Friday, local time. He has consistently denied having non-consensual sex since allegations were first aired two years ago. British prosecutors announced in April that Brand had been charged with two counts of rape, one count of indecent assault, and two counts of sexual assault against four women between 1999 and 2005. Prosecutors said the alleged offences took place in the English seaside town of Bournemouth and London. Brand did not speak to reporters as he arrived at court wearing dark sunglasses, a suit jacket, a black collared shirt open below his chest and black jeans. The 49-year-old is accused of raping a woman at a hotel room in Bournemouth when she attended a 1999 Labour Party conference and met him at an event where he was performing. The woman alleged that Brand stripped while she was in the bathroom and when she returned to the room he pushed her on the bed, removed her underwear and raped her. A second woman said Brand allegedly grabbed her forearm and attempted to drag her into a men's toilet at a television station in London in 2001. The third accuser was a television employee who met Brand at a birthday party in a bar in 2004, where he allegedly grabbed her breasts before pulling her into a toilet and forcing her to perform oral sex. The final accuser worked at a radio station and met Brand while he was working on a spin-off of the 'Big Brother' reality television program between 2004 and 2005. She said Brand allegedly grabbed her by the face with both hands, pushed her against a wall and kissed her before groping her breasts and buttocks. The accusers have not been identified. The UK actor, who previously gave his address as being in England but also lives in the US, is due to stand trial in June 2026. Brand was granted conditional bail earlier in May, and currently lives in Florida but is obliged to attend all future court appearances. He had been interviewed by police about the allegations. In a video posted on X in April after he was charged, Brand said he welcomed the opportunity to prove his innocence. Known for his unbridled and risque stand-up routines, Brand hosted shows on radio and television and wrote memoirs charting his battles with drugs and alcohol. In recent years, Brand has largely disappeared from mainstream media but has built up a large following online with videos mixing wellness and conspiracy theories. AP/Reuters

UK comedian Russell Brand pleads not guilty to rape and sexual assault

British comedian Russell Brand pleaded not guilty to five charges of rape and sexual assault at a London criminal court on Friday. He faces one count of rape, one of oral rape, two of sexual assault and one of indecent assault between 1999 and 2005, involving four women. Brand, 49, arrived at Southwark Crown Court in an open-buttoned shirt and dark blazer for the plea hearing, after being granted conditional bail at a previous hearing. He gained international recognition as the husband of pop star Katy Perry, but is better known in the UK for his hyper-sexualised and often lewd comedy routines and TV and radio appearances in the early 2000s. Now living partly in the US, Brand appeared at Westminster Magistrates Court in central London earlier this month, where he showed no emotion as a prosecutor read out allegations against him. Prosecutors charged Brand following a police probe into allegations aired in a 2003 Channel 4 documentary. He is accused of raping one woman in a hotel room following an event in the southern Bournemouth area in 1999. Another charge relates to the oral rape and sexual assault of a woman in 2004 in central London. The accusations involve four women, including one who was a TV worker, and another who was a radio station worker at the time of the alleged assaults. In a video response on X after he was charged in April, Brand said he was 'grateful' for the 'opportunity' to defend himself. 'I was a fool before I lived in the light of the Lord. I was a drug addict, a sex addict and an imbecile, but what I never was a rapist. I've never engaged in non-consensual activity,' he said in the video. Born in 1975 to working-class parents in Essex, east of London, Brand began his stand-up career as a teenager, eventually working as an MTV presenter and host of a Big Brother spin-off. He presented a show on the BBC's Radio 2 station between 2006 and 2008, but quit after an on-air prank when he left a sexually explicit voicemail for 'Fawlty Towers' actor Andrew Sachs about his granddaughter. Once a left-leaning political campaigner and Hollywood star, he has rebranded himself as a conservative guru to his millions of social media followers. Brand often peddles conspiracy theories, as well as sharing wellness tips, in his anti-establishment videos. Last year, he said he became a Christian after being baptised in the Thames river.
