Gaza Faces Third Consecutive Day of Internet and Landline Blackout The Palestinian Telecommunications Regulatory Authority has announced a worsening digital isolation in the Gaza Strip as a result of systematic targeting of telecommunications infrastructure, despite repeated previous attempts to restore several severed and alternative routes over an extended period. اضافة اعلان According to Palestinian sources, the Authority confirmed that cities in central and southern Gaza have now joined Gaza City and the northern region in complete digital blackout for the third consecutive day, due to continued strikes on vital main communication routes and networks. The Authority emphasized that this severe escalation against telecommunications infrastructure threatens to completely disconnect Gaza from the outside world, preventing residents from accessing essential services—particularly critical during the current humanitarian crisis—including relief, healthcare, media, and education. It warned of grave humanitarian and social consequences resulting from the blackout and called on all relevant local and international actors to intervene urgently to facilitate the safe access of technical crews to damaged sites and enable them to carry out necessary repairs. The Authority also noted that Israeli occupation forces continue to block technical teams from repairing cables severed two days ago and are obstructing access to backup alternative routes, despite months-long efforts to restore them. These repeated refusals have exacerbated the communications crisis and deepened the isolation imposed on the Gaza Strip.
