Chelsea Flower Show sees a 'bouquet' of Boden's must-have pieces for spring
A range of Boden pieces were spotted in the crowds at this year's Chelsea Flower Show, including a range of vibrant colours and bold patterns that are perfect for spring and summer
The Chelsea Flower Show is the event to watch when it comes to fabulous spring attire. Whether you're looking for pastel florals or bright and bold colours, the Flower Show's guests never fail to impress. At this year's event, plenty of Boden pieces were seen in the crowd, which are perfect to add to your spring and summer wardrobe, as they're all still in stock.
Featured on Boden's official Instagram, various brightly coloured outfits gained the spotlight. Among the spring-ready lineup were this popular Embroidered Item Jacket, alongside this fast-selling Liv Boat Neck Linen T-Shirt and this coveted Marylebone Interest Blazer - and the best news is, they're all still available in various sizes, though they are selling like hot cakes, so you'll need to move quickly.
The Embroidered Item Jacket (£220) has been touted as one to watch, as over 200 customers have checked out this item today. Coming in two patterns, this vibrant piece features a bold and colourful design that's sure to turn heads. The Islington jacket features all-over embroidery in bright colours that are suited to this time of year. And this beauty doesn't just win points for style, it's also got you covered for comfort as it features a soft cotton lining.
Seen elsewhere at the Chelsea Flower Shower was this Liv Boat Neck Linen T-Shirt (£80), which is a strong contender for the ultimate staple t-shirt this spring. Featuring a simplistic striped pattern, this gem is made from the popular linen that keeps it light and breezy on warmer days. The short-sleeved t-shirt is cool on the skin and boasts a stylish boat neckline for a fun twist on a casual design.
Last but not least was this highly sought-after Marylebone Interest Blazer (£270). Coming in a navy colourway, this jacket features a vibrant floral embroidered design. The Stamford blazer adds a spring flare to classic tailoring. The embroidered linen jacket boasts a semi-fitted cut and simple-breasted shape with a reverse collar, sleeves, contrast piping, and welt pockets—details that characterise an iconic tailored jacket but with a fun twist. That said, this item is only left in a couple of sizes due to its popularity, so you'll need to hurry to pick up your size before it's gone too.
If you're shopping around for alternative embroidered pieces, Next has this Love & Roses Ecru Floral Pattern Embroidered Jacket for £66. Meanwhile, FatFace is offering this Zoe Ivory Embroidered Jacket for £65, and Nobody's Child has this Poppy Delevingne White Embroidered Willow Jacket up for grabs for £150.

Rochelle Humes wows in £32 top from Next that 'will never age'
The top was praised by shoppers who felt like an 'iconic movie star' when wearing the outfit Next shoppers say that a "flattering" top from Next gets them "lots of compliments" whenever they wear it. Modelled by TV star Rochelle Humes, the outfit was hailed by shoppers as something that "will never age". The former The Saturdays singer stood posed with her hands on her hips to showcase the Brown Glossy Satin Polka Dot Halter Top online. It costs £32 and shoppers could also continue the look with the matching Polka Dot Maxi Skirt that is £50 to create an effect of a full dress. The mum-of-three completed her look with some off-white heels and a touch of jewellery. The top, from the This Morning presenter's collection with the high street store, is made from a "soft satin fabric" and finished with a tie fastening. Similar styles are available elsewhere. New Look has a £9.99 Cream Polka Dot Slash Neck Top and Debenhams has this Polka Dot Print Halter Neck in black for £28.50, reduced from £38. There's an almost identical top for sale over on ASOS - the Tank Top in Brown Polka Dot costs £32 and is made from non-stretch denim. But, Rochelle's top at Next is a clear favourite amongst shoppers. In the reviews, one said: "Wore this to a family party [and got] lots of compliments. It's easy to wear [and] very flattering." Another wrote: "Lovely top, nice to have a different colour top to wear dressed up or casually." A third added that it was "Very pretty". Someone else put: "Exactly what I wanted!" Reviewing the skirt, a fifth shopper said: "The quality of the material is stunning. It hangs lovely and I love poka dots. A little bit expensive but it will never age." There was one person who said they felt like an iconic movie character, writing: "I felt like Pretty Woman. Amazing!" Another fan said: "Beautiful piece of clothing will wear for many years." And, there was one more review that claimed: "I got the top in store and couldn't resist the skirt to complete my 'Pretty Woman' look! Skirt comes up big (I think due to the elasticated waist?)" There are no negative reviews so far, other than one about the skirt, where a shopper claimed the material "creased so badly." The lack of criticism in the reviews section may be off-putting for some shoppers. Plus, the top and skirt are made from 100% recycled polyester, which may be another turn-off for some who prefer more organic material.

I'm a Gardening pro – do these 6 tasks this weekend to fill your outside space with colour plus the time to water plants
WITH June starting tomorrow, it brings the promise of better weather and the longest day – but it can also bring a feeling of mild panic to gardeners. Whether it is worry about having planted enough seeds or what do to with all the overgrown bits, we have got lots of June jobs to get you organised. 5 THE CHELSEA CHOP This cutback is usually done around late May or early June, the same time as the Chelsea Flower Show. It means cutting back your herbaceous perennials — flowers with non-woody stems that come back year after year — by a third. This encourages a second flush of blooms and extends the flowering season. Good plants to practice on include Asters, Echinacea, Phlox, Sedum, Rudbeckia and Helenium. SOW SEEDS As the soil has warmed up, sow your seeds straight into the ground instead of messing around with pots. Broccoli, carrots, swede, beetroot, runner and French beans and sweetcorn can all go in now. Courgette can still be grown in pots for a later harvest. You can also scatter Nigella seeds on the soil for lovely blue flowers later in the season, and plant marigold and nasturtium seeds. WEEDING June is the month in which weeds flourish. A Hori Hori tool, below, is fantastic for getting them out, especially those with long roots. Just spending five minutes getting your hands dirty will make it feel much less tiresome and out of control — and is also good for your mental health. WATERING We have finally had rain but after months of dryness your garden still needs a in the early morning or late evening and avoid sprinkling the water all over the leaves. Concentrate on watering around the roots. BEDDING Fill your gaps with summer bedding but try to protect it from slugs and snails. Lobelia brings a lovely blue while fuchsias and petunias are always good around this time too. LAWNCARE Because it has been dry and warm, you need to raise the cutting level to avoid scorching. If you haven't already, apply a spring/summer lawn feed to provide nutrients for healthy growth. Or you could consider using a weed and feed fertilizer to control weeds while feeding your lawn. Saving tip 5 BE precise in your Chelsea chop with these £42 Niwaki Mainichi Secateurs, top, or cut the price with Burgon & Ball's Flora brite version, below, for £18 from B&Q. "I love this coat. It is surprisingly light to wear and very flattering, with the belt cinching in your waist." Those who are savvy to seasonal clothing sales will know that summer, while a chance to freshen up your lightweight wardrobe, also means that a lot of winter stock will see some serious discounts. And Boden has slashed the price of a 'very flattering' coat that's worth picking up now and storing for when winter inevitably comes back around. The retailer's Blanket Stitch Wrap Coat in alpine green is usually priced at £240 but is now available for £84. The coat is crafted from a plush wool blend but is fully lined, meaning it's perfect for those who are particularly sensitive to natural fibres. It has a semi-fitted shape with a length that finishes below the knee, great for bundling up warm in low temperatures. The coat is finished off with a shawl collar and is shaped with a belt, offering a flattering silhouette that also cocoons you to keep out any chill. The pockets are fully functional, with the tack needing to be removed upon arrival. Boden Blanket Stitch Wrap Coat £240 £84 Boden Shop Product Description If there's more room in your budget, Karen Millen has reduced the Manteco Wool Military Midaxi Coat in forest green by 60 per cent, now £192 down from £479. It is surprisingly light to wear and very flattering, with the belt cinching in your waist. The beautiful rich green colour makes you feel like you are wearing something special, and will continue to do so for many years to come. Purchased in the sale, fantastic value for a fantastic coat." "Stunning," somebody else said. "This is a beautiful coat and an absolute steal in the clearance sale. I bought the green. It's a lovely colour and looks so good with cream shoes or boots. "Some coats are so heavy, but this feels comfortable all day long. The unfussy neckline is great for a larger bust and can be worn up or rolled back as a shawl collar, to suit whatever you're wearing underneath. Perfect." One shopper said the Blanket Stitch Wrap Coat looked "like a bathrobe' and gave it a three-star review. "Not for me," another mentioned. "Didn't suit me, looked like a dressing gown." Somebody else loved their latest Boden purchase, however, adding: "I absolutely love this coat. The first day I wore it no less than five different people unsolicited complimented me on it throughout the day. None of them overheard each other, and prompted me to ask my husband if he had encouraged these strangers to do so (because he knew how much I love it), but he swore he hadn't."
