‘Did Taylor Swift Win Any AMAs 2025?' Trends Amid Singer's Absence
Swifties had their eyes fixed on the AMAs 2025 to see whether Taylor Swift would attend the awards night and how many trophies she would take home. However, despite all the speculations and manifestations regarding the singer's appearance at the event, she opted out of attending it. Following the global icon's absence at the American Music Awards 2025, searches for 'Did Taylor Swift Win Any AMAs 2025?' have started to trend on the internet.
At the AMAs 2025, Taylor Swift received six nominations in total. This included Album of the Year, Artist of the Year, Favorite Female Pop Artist, Favorite Touring Artist, Collaboration of the Year, and Favorite Pop Album. However, not only did the singer-songwriter miss the awards night, but she also did not win in any of these six major categories. Thus, the artist's snub at the American Music Awards 2025 has been garnering a lot of attention from fans amid her absence from the star-studded event, leading to a surge in searches for 'Did Taylor Swift Win Any AMAs 2025?'
In the meantime, Billie Eilish took home some big awards of the night. She had a total of seven wins. The singer went on to win the Album of the Year award for her latest album, 'Hit Me Hard and Soft.' She also bagged the Artist of the Year award. Other wins for Eilish included the Favorite Touring Artist award, Favorite Female Pop Artist, and Favorite Pop Album for 'Hit Me Hard and Soft,' among other awards. Meanwhile, in the Collaboration of the Year category, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars became the winners for their mega-hit song, 'Die With a Smile.'
Taylor Swift, who maintains a record of being the most awarded artist in the AMAs' history, has been maintaining a low profile for the last few months. Lately, the global icon has refrained from making any red carpet appearances alongside her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. Hence, the anticipation among fans to see the couple together at any event is growing rapidly.

Taylor Swift loses youngest self-made female billionaire title to a tech-savvy Swiftie
Taylor Swift is no longer the world's youngest self-made female billionaire – that crown now belongs to an unexpected successor: a Swiftie. Tech entrepreneur Lucy Guo (30) has surpassed Tay Tay (35) with a net worth of $1,3 billion (R23,4bn). This week Forbes released their list of America's richest self-made women and Lucy is at No 26 while Taylor ranks at 21. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lucy Guo (@guoforit) Lucy is a Chinese-American who took to coding while in Grade 2. One of her first businesses was selling Pokémon cards in primary school. Now she owns an impressive Pokémon collection. She's worked for leading companies, including Quora, Facebook and Snapchat. Initially she studied computer science at Carnegie Mellon University but two years later she dropped out when she was offered a Thiel Fellowship worth $100 000 (now R1,8 million). Lucy co-founded Scale AI – an AI data platform worth $25bn (R450bn) – with Alexandr Wang in 2016. Then aged 21 she headed operations and production design teams while Alexandr (then 19) served as CEO. The role ensured her spot on Forbes' 30 Under 30 list in 2018. In the same year she was fired after they 'had a difference of opinion'. She still has a 5% stake in the company that's estimated to be worth $1,2bn (R21,6bn), which is how she got her latest title. After losing her job at the company she co-founded, Lucy started over from scratch. In 2022 she founded and became the CEO of Passes – a content-creation platform that's been dubbed a family-friendly OnlyFans. View this post on Instagram A post shared by Lucy Guo (@guoforit) Lucy works as hard as she as she parties. She enjoys techno rave and has done a DJing course. She claims to attend two work classes a day and orders from UberEats instead of cooking or grocery shopping. Lucy met Taylor and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at Coachella last year. She commented on a video of her and the star with a checklist: met Taylor Swift, danced with Rihanna all night, took over Coachella. ✅ Met Taylor Swift ✅ Danced with Rihanna all night ✅ Took over Coachella — Lucy Guo (@lucy_guo) April 15, 2024 Lucy lives between two properties, an apartment in Miami and a house in Los Angeles. She's active on social media and has addressed her online persona. 'A lot of people don't like me because, honestly, I seem like an a**hole online. I would not like me on the internet. But I've made a lot of friends because I think people appreciate my savage personality,' she told The New York Post.

Lil Wayne Debuts At No. 1 With His First New Album In Half A Decade
Lil Wayne's Tha Carter VI debuts at No. 1 on iTunes, with 'Sharks," featuring Big Sean and Jelly ... More Roll, emerging as a quick fan favorite tune. BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA - MAY 03: Lil Wayne performs onstage at Legacy Arena at the BJCC on May 03, 2025 in Birmingham, Alabama. (Photo by) Lil Wayne has returned! The superstar rapper is back with the sixth installment in his Tha Carter series, which has proved to be one of the most successful in hip-hop history. While he didn't promote the set via the traditional path with multiple early singles, it appears that Wayne's popularity may be enough to power him to another bestseller, as Americans have quickly responded to the release of Tha Carter VI and turned it into a chart-topper. Tha Carter VI currently rules the iTunes Top Albums chart in the United States. The full-length leads during a packed frame of exciting new releases, as this Friday (June 6), includes drops from stars across genres — but none of them can quite compete with Wayne at the moment. The biggest competition facing Tha Carter VI is not something new. In fact, it's an album that was released more than a quarter century ago. Millennium by Backstreet Boys bolts up the iTunes Top Albums ranking and currently lands in the runner-up spot. Wayne and Backstreet Boys push recent champions I'm the Problem by Morgan Wallen and Reputation by Taylor Swift down a few pegs, and they land at Nos. 3 and 4, respectively. The top 10 on the iTunes Top Albums chart features half a dozen new arrivals as of the time of writing, with Tha Carter VI leading them all. Just a few spaces further down the list, new drops from Enhypen, Addison Rae, Marina, Turnstile, and Volbeat all manage to find space inside the uppermost region. None of them can compete with Wayne's first solo full-length since 2020's Funeral, which earned him another No. 1 on the Billboard 200. As Tha Carter VI gets going, one of its predecessors returns and becomes a bestseller again. Tha Carter III, which is widely regarded as the best of these half-dozen releases — and perhaps Wayne's most celebrated full-length — currently sits at No. 60 on the iTunes Top Albums chart. No major singles were pushed from Tha Carter VI before its release, but a favorite track has quickly been identified by fans. "Sharks," which features both Big Sean and Jelly Roll is the only tune by Wayne to appear on the iTunes Top Songs tally, and it's off to a fairly slow start. The track currently appears at No. 186, but it will likely rise in the coming hours and days. Tha Carter VI features 19 songs and a handful of somewhat surprising collaborations. While it's not shocking to see other hip-hop artists like 2 Chainz, Sean, and Kodak Black on the project, U2's Bono and even Andrea Bocelli are also officially credited. The Irish rocker lent his songwriting skills and voice to "The Days," while the Italian crooner appears in the background on "Maria," as he sings "Ave Maria" while Wyclef Jean and Wayne take turns performing.

Billie Eilish Charts Multiple Bestsellers Thanks To The Vinyl Surge
Billie Eilish is one of several musicians fueling the continued surge in vinyl sales around the world, a trend that has now been growing for years. The young singer-songwriter's fans have demonstrated time and time again that they love purchasing her music, especially on wax. This week in the U.K., Eilish once again showcases her popularity on the format, as multiple projects return to the same tally simultaneously, giving her several bestselling vinyl titles. Eilish fills two spots on the Official Vinyl Albums chart in the U.K. this week. Both of her current wins didn't appear on the tally — which ranks the bestselling full-lengths and EPs on wax in the country — just days ago, but both have previously spent time on this roster. The highest of Eilish's two wins is Hit Me Hard and Soft (Isolated Vocals), an a cappella version of her full-length Hit Me Hard and Soft. The project reenters the tally at No. 13. Originally shared for Record Store Day 2024, the album recently became widely available and now appears on this ranking for just the second time ever. As it reappears, it reaches a new all-time high. Eilish's sophomore full-length Happier Than Ever is also a vinyl bestseller once more. This frame, in its seventeenth turn on the list, the rock-leaning project breaks back in at No. 37. Thanks to its widespread availability, Hit Me Hard and Soft (Isolated Vocals) returns to multiple tallies this week, not just the Official Vinyl Albums chart. The set earns a second stay on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums lists as well, reappearing inside the top 40 and missing its previously set high point by just a space or two. Happier Than Ever, meanwhile, can be found on four other rosters, gaining ground on each of them. The singer's second full-length not only pushes north on multiple sales rankings, but also rises on the Official Albums Streaming chart, which shows that consumption of the music is growing via both purchases and streaming. Eilish's other two full-length projects — When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? and Hit Me Hard and Soft — both find space on four U.K.-based rosters. However, they experience different trajectories than the pair of vinyl bestsellers. Hit Me Hard and Soft declines on all four charts, while her debut is gaining ground on the same quartet of lists.
