The podcast, called 'Alive,' is being billed as a 'cozy and delightful weekly series' where Burns will talk about 'what it means to stay human in a complicated world,' according to a news release Wednesday.
'There are a thousand podcasts you can listen to, this is one that listens back. I really want to continue what we started decades ago,' Burns – who now posts popular social media videos where he asks people how they're doing and spends minutes simply listening – said in a statement. 'For us, it was all about curious investigation. It was about looking a little closer. About asking the right questions.'
'Alive' will feature Burns engaging in vulnerable conversations with guests, who have not yet been announced, as he 'continues to connect with both the generation who grew up with him and new audiences alike.'
Burns added that the podcast is a 'continuation of that same conversation—only now we're grown-ups, trying to make sense of a world that's a whole lot more complicated.'
The concept for the podcast was inspired by a viral moment from 2021 when Burns helped mark the 25th anniversary of 'Blue's Clues,' saying that he 'found himself in conversation again with tens of millions of grown-up fans who still considered him a friend,' the news release read.
At the time, Burns talked about his decision to abruptly depart from the show to attend college in a video posted to the Nick Jr. verified Twitter account.
Burns served as the original host of 'Blue's Clues' from 1996 to 2003. The Nick Jr. animated series followed Burns and his cartoon dog Blue, who helped him find clues to figure something new out each episode.
'Alive' is set to debut this fall.

Your daily horoscope: June 26, 2025
A un-Mars link on your birthday will encourage you to travel and have fun this year but don't get carried away and sign up for activities that could cost more cash than you've got in the bank. Always make sure you get value for money. It's time to knuckle down to some serious work and today's link between the sun and Mars will put you in the right frame of mind to give whatever it is you are working on your very best shot. Never offer less than 100 per cent. Get together with loved ones today and talk through anything that you feel has been coming between you. A happy home life is the essential foundation for all sorts of success, so make sure they know you have only good feelings for them. If you keep your options open today you can find an easy route to a goal that you started to move toward at the start of the week. Sometimes you try too hard to prove yourself and that can cause friction that is both unnecessary and restrictive. You may be in the mood to do extraordinary things but you could so easily waste time and energy on stuff that is of no real importance. What is your No. 1 goal? Focus on that and nothing else today, tomorrow and over the weekend. As mind planet Mercury moves into your sign today your confidence will soar and tasks you thought would be too much for you will seem surprisingly easy. Don't take on too much though because there are still physical limits you need to observe. Your tendency to think too much needs to be curbed as it could hold you back from doing stuff that you know won't be easy. Learn to control your fears and act as if there is nothing and no one that can hold you back from your destiny. Something you once took for granted is no longer a sure thing and you will be asking yourself some serious questions about it over the next 24 hours. Changes in your working routine will be needed, but don't ever change your dreams. You need to speak up and let people in positions of authority know who you are and what you can do. It's not enough just to do your best and expect the world to notice and reward you – you also need to do lots of personal marketing. The fact that someone in authority does not approve of what you are doing won't hold you back for even a second. You honestly believe that, if the powers that be are against you, then you must be doing the right thing. And you are! Be realistic about what you can achieve over the next few weeks but don't set your sights too low. You are at your best when there is a challenge in front of you that forces you to go the extra mile. Just don't make it a marathon! You may not really care what friends and colleagues think about something of a social or political nature but you would be wise to at least listen to what they have to say. If you don't, you could end up looking out of touch. The more others press you to follow a plan through to the end the more likely it is you will rebel and do things in a less structured way. It won't make you any new friends but it will make what you have to do a lot more interesting. Discover more about yourself at

Quebec filmmaker Denis Villeneuve tapped to direct next James Bond film
Denis Villeneuve is going from 'Dune' to Bond. AmazonMGM announced Wednesday that Villeneuve will direct the next James Bond movie. The untitled film will be the first since the studio took creative reins of the storied film franchise after decades of control by the Broccoli family. Producers Amy Pascal and David Heyman had maintained that before the next Bond is cast, they would develop a screenplay and find a director first. Now, they have one of the most respected blockbuster makers in Hollywood who's coming off a pair of widely acclaimed Dune films. In a statement, Villeneuve said he grew up watching Bond movies. 'I'm a die-hard Bond fan. To me, he's sacred territory,' said Villeneuve. 'I intend to honour the tradition and open the path for many new missions to come. This is a massive responsibility, but also, incredibly exciting for me and a huge honour.' Since taking creative control of Bond in February, AmazonMGM has worked quickly to get the next movie going. The studio is also trying to win over fans skeptical of the new corporate leadership of 007 and the likelihood of future spinoffs. A landmark donation from Denis Villeneuve reveals the philanthropy gap for indie cinemas 'James Bond is in the hands of one of today's greatest filmmakers,' said Mike Hopkins, head of Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. With Pascal and Heyman lodged as producers and Villeneuve behind the camera, the next Bond movie will have an enviable brain trust. Villeneuve beat out a field of directors floated for the movie including Edward Berger (Conclave), Paul King (Paddington 2), Edgar Wright (Baby Driver) and Jonathan Nolan, co-creator of Westworld and brother to Christopher Nolan. 'Denis Villeneuve has been in love with James Bond movies since he was a little boy,' said Pascal and Heyman. 'It was always his dream to make this movie, and now it's ours, too.'
