Chelsea stars get suited and booted for club's end-of-season awards party - as one wins TWO awards (and it's not Cole Palmer!)
Chelsea 's stars were dressed to the nines for the club's end-of-season awards party on Sunday night - as one hero went home with two prizes.
Players from the men's and women's teams, as well as the academy, arrived at the swanky Grosvenor House in Mayfair, central London, on Sunday night.
It came just hours after Chelsea scored a statement 3-1 victory over Premier League champions Liverpool to bolster their hunt for a Champions League spot.
While Enzo Maresca 's men will settle for a top-five spot and Europa Conference League win, Sonia Bompastor's side have already won the Women's Super League and League Cup and reached the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Moises Caicedo scooped up two awards as he was named Men's Players' Player of the Season and voted by fans as Men's Player of the Season.
He joins favourites such as Eden Hazard, Thiago Silva, and Cole Palmer to be recognised with both honours in the same season after starting every league game to date.
'Caicedo leads the way for us in terms of successful tackles and interceptions, and ranks in the top ten of the Premier League for both,' Chelsea noted on their club website.
'He has chipped in with a goal and three assists, too, earning us a point away to Manchester United with a superb volley.
Caicedo's reliability and all-action midfield play has been a key factor in our season and he has skippered the side on occasion, too, further demonstrating his leadership qualities.
Erin Cuthbert won the Women's Player of the Season for the second time in a season which has seen her surpass the 250 appearances mark for the Blues.
Chelsea wrote: 'The 26-year-old also delivered a crucial moment in the title race in late March. It was a goal that summed Cuthbert up. She put her head in where it hurts to dramatically win our WSL game at Man City, and help us take a big step towards our sixth straight league crown.'
Meanwhile, Nathalie Bjorn took home the Women's Players' Player of the Season after being a defensive rock in her first full season at the club.
'She has delivered countless blocks and tackles to help preserve clean sheets, and shown her technical quality by starting attacks with pinpoint passes out from the back,' Chelsea said.
Fans will want to keep an eye on Tyrique George and Lola Brown, who won the respective Academy Player of the Season prizes after breaking into the first team.

George, 19 has made 22 appearances and netted his first senior goal last month, while Brown, 17, has also made a handful of outings for the women's side.
Finally, Millie Bright and Marcus Bettinelli were named the PFA Community Champions for their work with the Chelsea Foundation.

Arsenal reject approach for £42m star but sanction another transfer exit
Arsenal have rejected an approach to sell Riccardo Calafiori during the summer transfer window, according to reports. The Gunners beat London rivals Chelsea to a deal for Calafiori last summer, spending £42m to sign the Italian defender from Bologna. Calafiori only spent one season at Bologna but impressed for the Serie A side during the 2023-24 campaign and was then one of Italy's best players at a disappointing Euro 2024. Given he was one of Arsenal's marquee signings last summer, Calafiori was somewhat of a disappointment last season, missing many games through injury and then being used as a left-back by Mikel Arteta. Calafiori is unlikely to play as a centre-back given the impressive partnership of William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes but his left-back prospects are also bleak following Myles Lewis-Skelly's breakout season. The same can be said for Jakub Kiwior but Arsenal are considering keeping the 25-year-old at the Emirates Stadium despite interest from AC Milan. Last month, Calafiori responded to speculation linking him with a move away from Arsenal and bemoaned his stop-start 2024-25 campaign. Man Utd target Bryan Mbeumo makes Thomas Frank claim amid Spurs transfer battle
Manchester United target Bryan Mbeumo is also wanted by Tottenham now that Thomas Frank is in charge and the Cameroon star feels his ex-Brentford boss will thrive at his new club Bryan Mbeumo has tipped Thomas Frank to be a huge hit at Tottenham during an impromptu interview at the Canadian Grand Prix - but he did not discuss the battle for his signature between Spurs and Manchester United. The Cameroon star, 25, is wanted by both clubs with a summer exit from Brentford now likely. It's understood that United is Mbeumo's preferred destination with the Red Devils in desperate need of reinforcements after enduring their worst ever Premier League campaign. They have so far failed to meet Brentford's valuation of the player and the situation has been complicated by Frank's move to Spurs. Mirror Football revealed prior to the weekend that they have launched a £70million bid to try and make Mbeumo their marquee summer signing by gazumping their rivals. And while Mbeumo did not discuss interest from the two clubs in Montreal, he did endorse Frank to do a stellar job at his new club. "He's done so much for me," Mbeumo told Sky Sports when he was asked how influential Frank has been during his career. "He literally trusted me from the start [at Brentford] and he developed the team so well. He developed me as a human and a player so much as well. I can only wish him all the best and I'm sure he's going to do well." He added: "He knows everything; he's really smart and knows what he wants to bring the team, how he wants them to play. He's been fantastic for Brentford." Mbeumo is hot property after breaking the 20-goal barrier in the Premier League for the first time last season, helping Brentford to a 10th place finish. Crucially, the Bees are not expected to prevent their star man after his stellar campaign, though it remains unclear where he will end up with the summer transfer window set to reopen on Monday. The versatile forward feels he is currently at the peak of his powers, adding: "I think it's been my best season so far in the Premier League.
