At dawn, 'Israeli' airstrikes on Gaza kill at least seven civilians
At least seven Palestinians were killed early Tuesday in a wave of 'Israeli' airstrikes across the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Civil Defense.
Maqmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense, told AFP that 'Israeli' warplanes launched multiple heavy strikes at dawn, targeting Gaza City, Beit Lahia, Beit Hanoun, and Khan Younis. 'Seven civilians were killed in the attacks,' he said.
Four people died when an airstrike hit the home of the Bakr family in the Al-Rimal neighborhood of western Gaza City. Two more were killed in a separate strike on a home in Al-Sabra, also in western Gaza, and one person was killed in Khan Younis.
Basal added that the 'Israeli' military demolished more than ten homes in eastern Gaza City and Rafah. An airstrike also destroyed bulldozers and other equipment belonging to the Jabalia municipality in northern Gaza.
'Israeli' artillery shelled several neighborhoods in Gaza City, including Al-Daraj, Al-Tuffah, and Al-Shuja'iya, he added.

The attendees also praised Jordan's unwavering stance in relation to the Palestinian cause, and its support for the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land, saying that a stalwart Jordan is a stalwart supporter of its Palestinian and Arab brethren. A number of attendees said the 'Israeli' escalation threatens the security of the entire region, which calls for unifying Arab positions to put pressure to stop the escalation and restore stability. They also praised the role of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army and security agencies in protecting the Kingdom's security, while emphasising the need to strengthen the home front. 'Israel' says airspace remains closed for third day amid Iran fighting
'Israeli' authorities said the airspace was closed Sunday for a third consecutive day, after two nights of deadly missile strikes from Iran in response to 'Israel's' bombardment campaign. "Due to the security situation and in accordance with the instructions of security authorities, Israeli airspace is currently closed to civilian aviation -- no incoming or outgoing flights are operating," said a joint statement from the transport and foreign ministries.
