Bruce Springsteen is spending the summer traveling around Europe, performing dates on his Land of Hope and Dreams tour. The trek began two years ago under the name Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band 2023–2025 Tour, but when he picked up the guitar again in mid-May, he later renamed the venture and brought it to the United Kingdom. At the same time, the compilation rockets from No. 80 to No. 7 on the Official Album Downloads ranking – reaching a new high point in the process. Yet another compilation, titled simply Best Of, jumps back onto both the Official Albums Streaming list and the Official Albums chart. On those tallies, the compilation can be found at Nos. 84 and 93, respectively. Springsteen's catalog is so popular that one collection of smash singles isn't enough for the nation. The River is the only one of Springsteen's comebacks that doesn't make a home on several rankings. This time around, it only reenters the Official Album Downloads chart, where it comes in at No. 72. In addition to his quartet of returning favorites, one of Springsteen's oldest projects — his breakout set Born to Run — manages to debut on the downloads-only tally. The career-making set launches at No. 92, decades after it was first unveiled to the world.

The woman, who is testifying under a pseudonym in the sweeping federal sex-crimes case, returned to Manhattan court on June 12 to wrap up cross-examination. Attorneys for Combs have attempted to elicit testimony that indicates she freely participated in, and even encouraged, the sexual performances she took part in during her on-and-off romance with Combs. During cross-examination on June 11, Jane was asked to explain messages from the Grammy-winning rapper that appeared to give his then-girlfriend options when it came to their "hotel nights," or sexual encounters Combs allegedly orchestrated between Jane and various sex workers. "I was just adapting to my circumstances and my environment," and adjusting to "the pressures of my lover," Jane told the court, responding to messages where she'd agreed to sex acts. "I was going along with something I really didn't feel I could say no to." The online content creator, who previously said she still loves Combs to this day, admitted she also harbors negative feelings: "I resent him for all of it," she told Combs' attorney Teny Geragos. Combs, 55, was arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty. The House is set to vote Thursday on a package of funding cuts inspired by the U.S. DOGE Service that until recently was overseen by Elon Musk. The clawbacks, totaling $9.4 billion, take aim at foreign aid and funding for PBS and NPR, among other things. It could be the first in a series of so-called recession packages. At the White House, President Donald Trump is expected to sign a measure Thursday that blocks California's first-in-the-nation rule banning the sale of new gas-powered cars by 2035. He is also scheduled to sign executive orders and host a congressional picnic. Elon Musk is out of Washington, but House Republicans could make his legacy law. The House is scheduled to vote Thursday on a package of federal funding cuts inspired by the U.S. DOGE Service's slashing of the federal government. Those cuts include an effective elimination of U.S. foreign aid and funding for PBS and NPR. The total cost of the clawbacks is $9.4 billion.
