Never mind who do you think you are, who do we think you are? Her real name is Aisling O'Sullivan. She took the surname Bea in memory of her late father, Brian.
Like many people who haven't lived here for a long time, she seems remarkably patriotic. She is 100pc on board with the conventional narrative about how the Brits murdered us all, stopped us speaking Irish at the point of a gun and for centuries denied us the freedom in which we now revel.

Game of Thrones actor Liam Cunningham was also involved in the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, revealing that those aboard were transporting items that Israel were not allowing inside Gaza such as crutches and baby formula. The Irish star has shared several tweets in the wake of Israel seizing the aid boat, with one stating: 'The Freedom flotilla was attacked during the night. The ship was rammed, boarded, and the 12 volunteers kidnapped.' A message shared via X from the Ministry said: 'The 'selfie yacht' of the 'celebrities' is making its way to the shores of Israel. The passengers are expected to return to their home countries. 'While Greta and others attempted to stage a media provocation whose sole purpose was to gain publicity — and which included less than a single truckload of aid — more than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel within the past two weeks, and in addition, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has distributed close to 11 million meals directly to civilians in Gaza.' The department added that the 'tiny amount of aid' on the yacht would be transferred to Gaza 'through real humanitarian channels.'

Behind the music - Aoife Destruction and the Nilz
Aoife Destruction And The Nilz play the Main Stage at Forest Fest Emo, Co. Laois on Saturday 26 July. We asked Aoife the BIG questions . . . Aoife Destruction And The Nilz was born in August 2023 out of a late night conversation at an after party at Rebellion Punk Festival in Blackpool, England, where both Aoife and The Nilz were performing. Aoife had previously contributed to The Nilz's debut album Unicorn Hardsports in 2021 on the track So and had jumped up on stage with the band a couple of times to perform it live. After 12 months of touring and support slots with Stiff Little Fingers, Bad Manners, Kerbdog, Big Country, The Rezillos, and gigs at Forest Festival, Electric Picnic and Rebellion Festival in Blackpool, Aoife and the boys are gearing up to release their first full length debut album with lots of live shows and festivals already in the diary for 2025. Forest Fest Emo's founder is Phillip Meagher, a local solicitor who loves music but felt that the festivals he was attending weren't geared towards his demographic anymore, so he decided to make his own. He started in 2022 with a mainly Irish line-up, and while the festival still hosts Irish acts like Pillow Queens, Mary Coughlan, Sharon Shannon, Something Happens, Paddy Casey, Thumper and more, it's now expanded to include international headliners like Manic Street Preachers, Franz Ferdinand, Travis, Orbital, Peter Hook & The Light, and Alabama 3. I joined my first band at the age of 14 called Subbacultcha, which was a Pixies cover band. I moved to Spain in 2021 yet still somehow manage to sing and perform in two bands based in Dublin. Aoife Destruction And The Nilz are currently recording our debut album which will be out later in the year. How would you describe your music? I would describe our music as aggressive comedic smut tones with catchy laments and choruses that will haunt your dreams. Who are your musical inspirations? My musical inspirations vary dramatically from punk rock to hip hop to cheesy 80s and everything in between What was the first gig you ever went to? The first gig I went to is when I was 11 years old being snuck into the corner of a pub to see my Dad's band The Barflys play. It was then that I knew that being in a band is what I wanted to do. What was the first record you ever bought? The first ever record I bought was Doolittle by Pixies so I could learn the songs for my cover band. What's your favourite song right now? Research Chemicals by The Viagra Boys. Favourite lyric of all time? My favourite lyric of all time is "You've got high heels because they help you get high" from the song Roxy Girl by The Radiators From Space. If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life, what would it be? If I had only one song to listen to for the rest of my life, it would have to be Hyper-ballad by Björk.
