Veteran volunteers hold service project at Boys & Girls Club of Hartford
HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — To celebrate Earth Month, the veteran service and volunteer organization The Mission Continues held a service project in Hartford on Saturday.
Volunteers participated in expanding outdoor seating, landscaping, painting and installing a small garden space for students and staff at the Boys & Girls Club of Hartford.
The project will help increase functional outdoor learning and activity space, introduce native pollinators to the area and provide a refresh to the space, inside and out.

This was one of multiple service projects that TMC is conducting for Earth Month across the country.
The Mission Continues is a veteran service and volunteer organization that helps underserved communities with the help of veterans across the United States.
The Earth Month volunteer campaign will help over 40 different cities blossom during April.
