US armored vehicle pulled from swamp but fate of 4 soldiers still unknown
Lithuanian officials provided an update on Monday on the soldiers from Fort Stewart who disappeared after a training exercise.
They confirmed that crews pulled a U.S. armored vehicle from a swamp on Sunday after a six-day search.
'The armored vehicle was pulled ashore at 4:40 a.m., the towing operation is complete, Lithuanian Military Police and US investigators continue their work,' Defense Minister Dovilė Šakalienė said.

It's unclear though if the soldiers are inside the vehicle. The defense minister said updates on the soldiers' fate will come first from the U.S. Army.
'Until the investigators have more details, we need to stay calm and focused, and keep in mind the sensitivity of the situation and the concerns of the soldiers' families,' Šakalienė said.
All of the soldiers are from the 1st Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division. They were conducting a training exercise in the town of Pabradė when they and their M88 Hercules armored vehicle were reported missing.
The U.S. Army has not released the soldiers' names.

APD says man gave the wrong name, but he was the right suspect wanted for burglary
Atlanta police said a man gave them a fake name, however, he was the right suspect in connection with a burglary case. Woodstock man gets 50 year sentence for family violence conviction
The Cherokee County District Attorney's Office announced that a man was facing a 50 year sentence after negotiating a plea in a family violence case. District Attorney Susan K. Treadaway said that David Ray Graham, 38 of Woodstock, entered a negotiated plea to multiple charges on Thursday, taking a guilty plea for multiple charges related to a domestic violence assault. According to the DA's office, Graham faced eight charges stemming from a sheriff's office investigation in March 2024. [DOWNLOAD: Free WSB-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] The DA's office said Cherokee County Sheriff's Office deputies went to Northside Cherokee Hospital after getting a report that a woman had been assaulted in a Woodstock home. While being treated for what the DA's office said were visible injuries, the victim told deputies that Graham had repeatedly punched and kicked her, threatened her with a machete and hammer and held her against her will in the home.
