Will Chelsea wear new home kit against Manchester United tonight?

Chelsea have officially unveiled their new home kit for the 2025/26 season, but it will not be on show against Manchester United tonight.
The Blues are continuing their partnership with sportswear giants Nike, with the new shirt "inspired by London's iconic landmarks and creative culture".
Cole Palmer, Marc Cucurella, Reece James, Millie Bright, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo, Sam Kerr, Guro Reiten, Naomi Girma and Lauren James all featured in the unveiling on Friday, along with celebrities including music stars Central Cee and Suggs, lead singer of Madness, whose classic tune 'Our House' soundtracked the launch video.
The design features a textured clash print with the club' classic blue paired with a brighter shade which is said to embody the youthful spirit that has shaped west London.

Meanwhile, white and red trims add more Chelsea heritage colours alongside a specially adapted crest, which matches the colourway and inspiration of the overall design.
Chelsea's chief revenue officer Casper Stylsvig said: "London stands for creativity, innovation and an ever-evolving cultural landscape, and is embedded into our DNA. It's fitting that in our 120th year this incredible city has such a visual representation on our home kit.
"The classic Chelsea blue and heritage colours stand alongside architectural icons of our skyline, we are proud to call London our home and to continue playing a big part in shaping its football community and culture."
No. Standard Sport understands Chelsea will begin wearing their new kit at this summer's Club World Cup instead.
This is due to a number of reasons, with the club's current sponsorship agreement with DAMAC Properties a likely factor.
All season the Blues had played without a front-of-shirt sponsor, but that changed in the Conference League semi-final first leg against Swedish side Djurgarden at the beginning of the month after they agreed a short-term deal with the Dubai-based property development company.
The agreement covers the rest of the current season, including Chelsea's remaining Premier League matches against Manchester United and Nottingham Forest, as well as the Conference League final against Real Betis in Wroclaw on May 28.
The agreement does not include this summer's inaugural expanded FIFA Club World Cup in the United States, with Chelsea still in talks with other companies about potential sponsorship for that competition and beyond into next season.

Blow for Man United as Romano & Ornstein confirm managerial appointment

Bayer Leverkusen are finalising their agreement with Erik ten Hag, and it could spell bad news for Manchester United and their transfer plans. The Dutchman has been on the shelf since being sacked by the Red Devils last October following a poor start to the season. Nevertheless, he now appears destined to resume his managerial career in Germany. Advertisement In recent hours, several sources have reported an imminent accord between the 55-year-old and Leverkusen, including top journalists Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein. But unfortunately for Man Utd, this development will likely scuttle their plan to offload one of the deadwood. Man United desperate to sell Jadon Sancho Sancho has failed to impress in a Chelsea shirt. (Photo by) As reported earlier today, INEOS are aiming to raise £100 million by selling Marcus Rashford, Antony and Jadon Sancho. Moreover, a new report from The Independent identified Leverkusen as a potential destination for Sancho who appears unlikely to stay at Chelsea. The Blues have an obligation to buy the winger at the end of the season for £25 million, but appear intent on escaping through the back door by paying a £5 million penalty to relieve themselves of this clause. Ten Hag's appointment will close the door on Sancho's Leverkusen move Leverkusen represented a promising opportunity for Man United to offload an unwanted player. And for Sancho, this was his chance to reignite his career on German soil, having enjoyed two prosperous spells at Borussia Dortmund. Advertisement Alas, the arrival of Ten Hag will scupper the plan, as the latter had a massive public fallout with the England international during their time at Man United, particularly in September 2023. This led to the winger's omission from the squad, and subsequent return to BVB on loan in January 2024. The two were briefly reunited last summer, but the rift seemed irreparable. Hence, a happy reunion at Leverkusen is highly unlikely at this stage, which means that United will have to resume their search for a new buyer.
