20 Everyday Life Hacks You'll Wish You Knew Sooner

Lower Your Screen Brightness
High screen brightness uses more battery than most people realize. Reduce brightness manually proste-porady.pl or enable auto-brightness so your phone adjusts based on lighting conditions. Keeping it low whenever possible can significantly extend battery life, especially if you use your phone often throughout the day for messages, apps, or browsing.
Turn Off Background App Refresh
Many apps continue to run and update in the background, draining your battery. Go to your settings and disable background activity for non-essential apps. This stops unnecessary updates and keeps your phone running efficiently, helping your battery last longer without affecting performance during regular daily use.
Use Battery Saver Mode
Battery saver mode automatically limits background processes, reduces performance slightly, and turns off visual effects. Activate it manually when your battery runs low or set it to turn on automatically. It's a simple way to conserve energy, especially during travel or long days without access to charging.
Disable Location Services for Unused Apps
Some apps track your location constantly, even when you're not using them. This drains the battery quickly. Review your location settings and allow access only when the app is in use or not at all. Limiting location tracking helps conserve power and also improves your privacy and security.
Update Your Phone Regularly
System updates often include improvements for battery efficiency. Developers optimize software to fix bugs and reduce energy use. Keeping your phone's software up to date ensures it runs smoothly and saves power. Set updates to install automatically or check regularly for new versions in your settings.
Turn Off Push Notifications for Unnecessary Apps
Every push notification wakes up your screen and uses battery power. Go through your apps and disable notifications for games, promotions, or other non-essential updates. This not only helps your battery but also reduces distractions, allowing you to stay more focused throughout your day.
Use Dark Mode
If your phone has an OLED or AMOLED screen, using dark mode can save battery life. Dark pixels require less energy to display. Activate dark mode in your display settings or choose dark themes in individual apps. It's a small change that can make a noticeable difference over time.
Avoid Extreme Temperatures
Heat and cold both affect battery health. Avoid leaving your phone in direct sunlight or in freezing environments. High temperatures can cause long-term damage, while low temperatures may cause temporary drops in battery performance. Keep your phone within a moderate temperature range to preserve battery life and health.
Close Unused Apps
Apps left open in the background can still use resources. Get into the habit of closing unused apps, especially games or resource-heavy programs. While modern phones manage memory well, manually closing unnecessary apps gives your battery a little extra help, especially when you're trying to conserve power.
Conclusion
Making your phone battery last longer doesn't require major changes—just a few smart habits. Adjusting settings, limiting unnecessary app activity, and keeping your phone updated can all help. These simple actions extend your battery life, reduce https://proste-porady.pl daily charging, and help your device perform better throughout the day.

Vivo is preparing to launch its new foldable smartphone, the X Fold 5, which follows the X Fold 3 released last year. Though Vivo has not announced the exact launch date, the device is expected to debut later this month. Ahead of the launch, Vivo product manager Han Boxiao shared several key details about the upcoming model. The Vivo X Fold 5 will feature an 8T LTPO AMOLED display on both the inner and outer screens. The display is designed to deliver a local peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. It will include high-frequency PWM dimming at full brightness and carry the TÜV Rheinland global eye protection 3.0 certification, aimed at reducing eye strain during prolonged use. The display will also offer a high pixel density and resolution, with Zeiss Master Colour technology to ensure accurate colour reproduction. This performance is supported by the second-generation semi-solid battery technology, which enhances battery stability by extending the solid electrolyte layer from the positive to the negative electrode compared to the previous generation. On the other hand, it will carry an IPX8 rating, meaning it can handle water immersion up to 3 meters deep. The device will also feature IPX9 and IPX9+ ratings for resistance to high temperature, high pressure, and underwater folding. Additionally, Vivo also claims it will be the first foldable smartphone with an IPX5 dustproof folding screen. vivo Y400 Pro specs leak, promo image shows us some parts of the device

vivo launched the Y300 Pro in September, and now it's already working on its aptly named successor, the Y400 Pro. Today a leak brings us its main specs along with what seems to be a leaked marketing shot. So let's dive right in. The Y400 Pro has a 6.77-inch AMOLED screen with 4,500-nit peak brightness, and it's powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC. Its dual rear camera system comprises a 50 MP main shooter using Sony's IMX882 sensor and a decorative 2 MP depth sensor. For selfies you get a 32 MP snapper. The phone has a 5,500 mAh battery with support for 90W fast wired charging, and it's just 7.49mm thin. It will be offered in white, gold, and Nebula Purple. It will be advertised to have its segment's "slimmest 3D curved screen", so if you've recently been wondering where all the curved screens went, apparently they're a staple of some mid-rangers now. Unsurprisingly, the Y400 Pro will get a ton of AI features too. Rumors say it will be available with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of storage. So, compared to its predecessor, it has a different chipset, a much smaller battery, and an ever so slightly thinner profile. Source
