Burger King reveals biggest menu shakeup in years — and a 'beautiful' burger
Burger King fans are in for a treat, with the fast food chain announcing its biggest menu shakeup in years, featuring new additions available from today, May 20.
The star of the new menu, shared exclusively with Metro, is the all-new succulent Kansas BBQ Chicken Fries. Potato fries are so over, now you can enjoy chicken strips shaped like fries in a crispy golden batter that promises a 'sweet and smoky' taste.
The fries, which cost £5.49 for six pieces, are a twist on the Doritos Extra Flamin' Hot Chicken Fries and the Tangy Cheese Chicken Fries that fans have tried previously.
But the excitement doesn't stop there, because there's also a brand new burger on the scene. The BBQ Chicken Stacker consists of chicken, bacon, onion rings, mayo, BBQ sauce and cheese sauce.
If you can't decide between the two offerings, why not try the Kansas BBQ King Box, which features the new burger, alongside a four piece chicken fries, regular fries and a drink – all for just £5.99.
That's clucking good value if you ask us. What's better is these items are on the menu for the foreseeable, so you've got plenty of time to give them a try.
It's not just new inventions that are on the menu today. The Gourmet Kings Bacon Caesar collection is making a comeback, after appearing on the menu last summer but disappearing on June 3rd.
This includes the Bacon Caesar Angus burger for £8.19, made with 100% Aberdeen Angus Beef, topped with smoked bacon, oak smoked cheddar, crispy onions, fresh rocket and garlic caesar sauce for a 'rich garlicy flavour'.
When it was announced last year fans couldn't contain their excitement, dubbing the new creation: 'The surprise we've all been waiting for.'
Alternatively you can get the Bacon Caesar Crispy Chicken burger for the same price, or there's some Bacon Caesar Loaded King Fries (£4.79) for you to get your hands on too.
One fan dubbed the chicken burger 'beautiful' giving it a nine out of 10 score for tastiness.
If you're tempted by the thought of some garlicy treats at home, then nab yourself some Bacon Caesar Loaded Nuggets which are available only on home delivery, not in store.
They'll set you back a handsome £7.49 though, but can we really put a price on satisfying our cravings?
If you're a sucker for spice, the Spicy Mayo Double Whopper (£8.99), a twist on Burger King's classic staple, is back on the menu after initially being introduced in 2023.
In every bite you'll get two flame-grilled beef patties, crunchy pickle slices, fresh onions, lettuce, and tomatoes stuffed between a toasted sesame bun and garnished with a special blend of sweet ketchup, creamy and spicy mayo, and cheese.
Not one for beef? Don't worry because the there's a Spicy Mayo version of the iconic Chicken Royale for £7.69 too, which has also been brought back after being available for a limited time only.
In celebration of this delicious menu shakeup Burger King is rolling out its buy one get one free deal on some of its new offerings. More Trending
This deal applies to the Gourmet Kings Bacon Caesar collection from May 20 to May 22, so you better be quick.
If you feel you can take the heat, the Spicy Mayo range is buy one get one free from May 27 to May 29.

JoJo Siwa clarifies sexuality as she and Chris Hughes plan next move
JoJo Siwa has reflected on her sexuality as her relationship with Chris Hughes reaches new levels. The 22-year-old TikTok superstar met the 32-year-old Love Islander on Celebrity Big Brother, both reaching the final after forming a close, tactile bond. Having since forged a romantic relationship, things have been going swimmingly for the lovebirds, who frequently give fans an intimate insight via soppy social media posts. Prior to dating Chris, JoJo had been in a relationship with Australian musician Kath Ebbs, from whom she split while at the CBB wrap party. Things turned pretty sour between them amid the fallout, with 27-year-old Kath claiming JoJo 'humiliated' them, while she maintains that she didn't intend for matters to escalate in such a way. JoJo also previously identified as a lesbian, but admitted to drag queen Danny Beard during Celeb Big Brother that the label 'queer' felt more fitting. Wake up to find news on your TV shows in your inbox every morning with Metro's TV Newsletter. Sign up to our newsletter and then select your show in the link we'll send you so we can get TV news tailored to you. Now, having got used to her life post-CBB, JoJo has doubled down on her earlier comments, with E! News quizzing her during Pride Month. 'I think the most beautiful term now is queer,' JoJo told Francesca Amiker. She continued: 'I think queer is an umbrella of, 'Look, I'm just me.' 'And I think the most beautiful thing about the LGBTQIA community is love is love. And that goes both ways.' The Karma hitmaker added: 'There's loads of beautiful, different sexualities. Sexuality and queerness is a lovely rainbow that has all different places, and it also has places on this rainbow that we don't even know exist yet.' Making it more than clear how she feels about boyfriend Chris, JoJo declared that she 'feels so in the right position for [herself].' 'I feel so content with my happiness,' said the singer. I feel so relaxed and at ease with where I'm at. I feel so happy and peaceful that the love that I feel is so real.' 'You can't really help who you fall in love with,' she stated. JoJo went on to praise Chris for teaching her that 'there's no right or wrong way to be you', having 'never second-guessed' her feelings for him. 'When I think about him, I'm full of pure joy.' And there could be more positive news on the horizon for fans of the new couple, as reports claim they're set to get even more screentime beyond the walls of the CBB house. As printed by The Sun, JoJo and Chris – dubbed 'CoJo' by fans – could be getting their own fly-on-the-wall series… which may even have global reach. A source said that while it's 'still in the early stages,' ITV thinks it would be 'amazing' to have JoJo and Chris front their own reality programme. 'Fans around the world are obsessed with their relationship, and there are so many TikTok accounts devoted to their love story.' Neither party has made a formal commitment just yet, but with both 'keen' to take things further, talks are looking 'promising'. 'ITV are eyeing up the show to air on ITV2, hopefully later this year once everything is signed on the dotted line.' Details of what the show will entail exactly are yet to be revealed, but it seems there's every chance of some cameos from loved ones. Appearing on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch last week, JoJo said that her mother 'adores' Chris. 'My parents think the absolute world of him, and him and my dad are like best friends,' she shared sweetly. 'Chris was actually telling me that yesterday they went to the spa together. They're literally best friends. 'Mum, she absolutely adores him. I love watching her watch us because I've never seen my mum so happy. 'It feels like we're a family. It feels like he's been in my family for however many years. It feels like they just all get along as well as I do.' More Trending JoJo and her fam live in the US, while Chris is over in the UK. Determined to make long-distance work, they're already flying back and forth to spend several days with one another at a time. Unfortunately, this also results in emotional goodbyes, with JoJo admitting this week that plenty of tears were shed when she left England for home once more. Got a story? I dumped my boring in bed ex — but my new girlfriend's sex fantasy is too much
An unfulfilling sex life can be a deal breaker in a relationship. And for one reader, his girlfriend's 'vanilla' preferences in the bedroom were enough for him to dump her. But now, he's gone from one extreme to the other, and he's with a new partner who is a little too adventurous for him. She wants them to go to sex parties, but he just can't get on board with the idea, and he's worried he might be too much of a prude after all. Read the advice below, but don't forget to check out last week's column, where a reader bagged himself a girl way out of his league — but he can't last in bed. I spent five years with a girl I met at university, who was lovely in almost every way. The one problem in our relationship was that we were sexually incompatible – she liked very vanilla sex, whereas I like to be a bit more adventurous. Eventually, I realised I couldn't spend the rest of my life being bored in bed, and so I ended things last summer. I had a few girlfriends over the following months, but at a Christmas party I met the woman I'm with now. We have a great relationship and like me, she is quite 'out there' sexually and enjoys the same things that I do. We talk dirty, watch porn and she loves being tied to the bed and other crazy stuff. Recently, she persuaded me to have a threesome with her and a friend, which was thrilling but slightly weird at the same time. Needless to say, my girlfriend absolutely loved it and now she wants me to go with her to a sex party, which is something she's done in the past. Love reading juicy stories like this? Need some tips for how to spice things up in the bedroom? Sign up to The Hook-Up and we'll slide into your inbox every week with all the latest sex and dating stories from Metro. We can't wait for you to join us! I'm not sure whether I want to watch her getting it on with other people, nor am I keen on the fact that she seems willing to share me. But she keeps telling me I'll love it, and that it will be just like watching porn, only for real. I'm trying to be cool about it, but deep down it's just something I can't get my brain around. I'm not even sure I would repeat the threesome again, never mind get involved in group sex. I'd hate to lose this girl because she's fantastic in every other way, but I worry that we've reached the point where we want different things. I keep telling myself not to be a prude, but it isn't working. I definitely wouldn't describe you as a prude but like everyone, you have a line you are not willing to cross. That's nothing to be self-critical about – you like what you like, and you don't want to go any further. It doesn't sound as though your girlfriend is keen to be a one-man woman sexually, and I wonder whether that will put pressure on your relationship. If she wants sex with other people, in a group setting or otherwise, you must ask yourself whether that's something you're prepared to accept. As you discovered with your ex, sexual compatibility is important so you need to have an honest talk with your partner about what you both want. She may not be willing to change, and why should she? But if you too are sure about your own 'red lines', then make your feelings clear instead of having doubts in private. More Trending Hopefully you'll be able to resolve your differences but if you can't, you might need to go your separate ways. Other women may not be as adventurous as your girlfriend, but it sounds like wild sex isn't all you need. It can be hard to meet your perfect match and sometimes compromises have to be made; but from what you say, a loving partner and a monogamous relationship will probably make you happier in the long run.
