SIOUX FALLS, SD (KELO) — It's the final day of competition at PBR: Unleash the Beast in Sioux Falls. The action begins at 1:45 p.m. at the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center. Purchase tickets at the KELOLAND Box Office.
Next door at the Convention Center is the Sioux Falls Reptile Expo featuring dozens of vendors selling both reptiles and amphibians from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will also be educational presentations and a raffle. Admission is $12.
The Big Boy Toy Show features campers, ATV's, boats and other larger-than-life accessories for spring and summer outdoor fun. It's taking place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Expo Building at the Brown County Fairgrounds in Aberdeen, SD. Admission is free.

Orville the tortoise turns 120
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A scaley South Dakota resident is celebrating a major milestone this month. A Giant Aldabra Tortoise named Orville is turning 120 years old. The other tortoises are 62 and 37 years old. A summer staple frozen in time Officials say the tortoises can live anywhere from 120 to 150 years. The tortoises live in the Tortoise Yard at the Reptile Gardens in Rapid City. The Human Resource Director talked about what the tortoises mean for the zoo. 'They are probably the most popular thing out here. I think a lot of people, when they come out as kids and then come out again as adults, this is probably just one of the many things. I think it's one of the biggest things that stays with people, for sure, are the giant tortoises,' said Lance Fuhrmann, Human Resource Director at the Reptile Gardens. The hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is free. Toadstool Jamboree is the headline performer at Levitt at the Falls in downtown Sioux Falls. The free concert starts at 7 p.m. with opening act Billy Lurken. The Fireworkz Store Pyrotechnic Musical is a benefit for Emily's Hope. Bring a lawn chair to the Tea Athletic Complex where the excitement begins at sunset. Your free-will offering will benefit Emily Hope's mission of ending the stigma of substance abuse disorder and providing prevention education. Premiere Playhouse holds Dolly Parton costume contest
SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A Dolly Parton costume contest is taking place Friday, June 6, at the Premiere Playhouse (TPP) office from 5-8 p.m. in the Rock Island Plow building. New coffee shop already looking to the future Contestants are asked to show up in their best Dolly Parton costume, fill out a form, and have their photo taken to enter the contest, according to a Facebook post and press release. Those participating will have the chance to win a Season 23 Mainstage Subscription package, ride on the pride parade float, and be crowned 'Queen Dolly.' Voting will be done by TPP staff on June 9, and the top three Dolly's will be notified if they're advancing to the next round. These three winners will be invited to ride on the Playhouse's pride parade float on June 14. Crews respond to fire at Delux Motel on West 12th Street Online, the public can vote on who will win the title of 'Queen Dolly' from June 9 to 20, and the champion will be crowned on the Orpheum Theater stage, before the '9 to 5' show begins on June 21.
