Second British tourist found dead in Albufeira, Portugal
A British tourist has been found dead in Albufeira, Portugal, on the same day the body of a missing Scottish man was discovered in the same area.
The tourist, a man in his early twenties, is believed to have died following a 'drunk' fall down steps in the Algarve resort town last Wednesday (4 June), reported Correio da Manha.
According to the Portuguese newspaper, the tourist was found at the bottom of steps on Avenida da Liberdade in Albufeira's Old Town.
He had been reported as missing shortly before 7am.
The death was confirmed at the scene by the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM), but the results of the autopsy have not been made public.
Local police are understood to have ruled out any link to a crime, said Correio da Manha.

On Wednesday, the body of missing Scottish tourist Greg Monks was found in the Cerro de Aguia area.
The 38-year-old Glaswegian went missing on 28 May after travelling to Albufeira with his friends for a five-day stag do.
Mr Monks was last seen at 3.27am near the Cerro de Aguia area, more than an hour's walk from the Albufeira Strip, where he is believed to have left his friends.
Authorities said a post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
A Foreign Office spokesperson said: 'We are supporting the family of a British man reported missing in Portugal and are in contact with the local authorities.'

Heartbreaking end in search for missing woman who disappeared in a state forest
A young woman who went missing for two days in a state forest has been found dead. Esmé Caverly, 25, was last seen at Minyon Falls Lookout in the Whian Whian State Conservation Area, in northern NSW, on May 21. She had frequently visited the park before she went missing. The Police Rescue Squad, State Emergency Services and the National Parks and Wildlife Services joined forces to search for her before finding her body on May 23. She was a force of nature.' Ms Hall said Ms Caverly's mother Rowena wished to lay her daughter to rest in Byron Bay, where she was born and raised. 'Byron Bay Cemetery will provide a permanent and accessible location for Esmé's loved ones to visit, to continue to be close to her,' she said. 'Esmé was kind, gentle, inclusive and compassionate. 'The cost of a burying a loved one is significant, especially for a pensioner. Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly towards the multiple costs.' So far the fundraiser has exceeded its $15,000 goal with more than $22,600 raised.

Sombre older brother of missing 21-year-old man last seen almost a week ago issues powerful plea for help
The older brother of a missing 21-year-old man has pleaded with locals to search their rural properties for clues as the search enters its sixth day. Finn Coyle, 21, was last seen at his family's home on Tanner Road in Carmel, in the Perth Hills in Western Australia, about 2.30pm on Friday. His brother Conor said it was 'completely out of character' for him to disappear. 'Finn's been missing since Friday... we're all very worried for his wellbeing and his welfare, he's known to spend a lot of time in the local bush in the hill's area,' he told reporters during a press conference on Tuesday. 'I think he's very resourceful and he's a great young man, but he's suffering a lot of mental health (problems). 'We're losing a generation of young people for mental health. It's entirely unlike him. 'It's completely out of character and we're seriously worried for his wellbeing.' WA Police, SES and Salvation Army volunteers resumed the search for Mr Coyle on Wednesday morning amid heavy rain and cool temperatures. Mr Coyle was known to explore the bushland around Carmel with police theorising he's 'not too far from home' and travelling on foot. 'He likes being in the bush, that's the kind of person he is,' Forrestfield Police officer in charge Brad Robinson said on Wednesday. 'We're focusing our search efforts in and around (the family's home). 'The bushland around here is really thick, it's hard to see overhead through our drones and it's also quite challenging on the grounds for the crews.' While police hold concerns for Mr Coyle due to the wet weather conditions, Mr Robinson said he was a 'pretty resourceful young fellow'. Locals on rural properties in the Perth Hills have been asked to search their sheds, outhouses and the surrounding bushland for any sign of Mr Coyle. 'He could be anywhere. We don't know whether he's fallen and injured himself - it could be any scenario,' Mr Robinson said. Mr Coyle is described as 187cm tall, of a slim build with brown hair and green eyes.
