Chloe Brockett admits 'I've lost myself' after Jack Fincham split
The Only Way Is Essex star Chloe Brockett is trying to rebuild her life following her latest split with on-off boyfriend Jack Fincham - who shot to fame on Love Island
Chloe Brockett has admitted she has lost herself following her split from Love Island star Jack Fincham. The 24-year-old The Only Way Is Essex star has been in an on-off romance with Jack, 34, since 2019.
But the once happy romance collapsed again earlier this month and now the pair are rebuilding their lives as singletons. The split may have hit Chloe hard, however, as she has confessed she is not feeling herself.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the ITV star shared a heartfelt update after fans connected with her following her break up. She admitted she was feeling uneasy - but went on to explain she has devised a way to pick herself up.
She told followers: "I'm going to try and talk to you more on here because yesterday the amount of messages I got was crazy. But even in other aspects of my life I feel like I've completely lost myself. I used to be the most ambitious, driven person."
She continued: "I lived by manifestation and was constantly writing down things about what I want to do next and how I'm going to improve myself. Over the last year, I don't know what happened, but it just felt like that motivation is gone.
"I see glimmers of it and I have ideas and I just never run with it. I don't know why, I just had this idea that if I maybe like sharing with you guys, the steps I'm taking to try and get back to myself, like, it's day one."
She went on: "So I don't know what I'm going to try and do, but I just didn't know if there is anyone else feeling like how I feel or feeling like they've completely lost themselves and if this will benefit anyone else. Because if it does, then let me know."
Sounding upbeat, she said: "Maybe I could have a little community on here of women or whoever that are trying to get back to themselves and how we are doing it.
"For me it's going to be waking up early because I never wake up early. I wake up early and do things I enjoy. I want to go to Pilates and do things that make me happy. And then also getting driven with my career again. My podcasts and stuff like that. Even if no one listens. Just bring it back.
"I just want to be honest and open with you guys because it's so easy to think everything's perfect on social media and everyone's life is great just because they have been in the public eye.
"I'm so lucky in so many aspects of my life. I'm so lucky that I've got a beautiful home and beautiful car, but I have completely lost myself and I just want to get back to who I was and I want to share it with you guys. And maybe build a little community."
Chloe then shared a story about how her friend Ashley, who she has only ever connected to via social media, had given her an idea to do a "30 day challenge". She explained: "I'm going to do a 30 day challenge of basically just doing things and trying to better myself. So I'm to get up at 6. I'm going to do it. I'm going to commit to the challenge.
"Tomorrow, if anyone wants to get up at 6 with me, I'm getting messages from people, 'I'm a new mum, I'll already be up.' I'm going to try and do an hours worth of Yoga or meditation or even just got to the gym, and I'm going to get up and try to do things for me."
She went on to urge other people to join her on the challenge and vowed to share updates - and asked her followers to share their stories too. She added that she is not "a guru", but encouraged both male and female followers to join her regardless.
Chloe then shared a screenshot from a fan showing that they had set an alarm for 6am and vowed to follow her example. The reality star added a caption stating: "Now I'm crying... you guys are bloody amazing."
Earlier this week, Jack confirmed that his romance with Chloe was over during a Q&A with fans. The aspiring sportsman was asked if he was still dating the reality star and he confirmed in the negative.
He wrote via Instagram Stories on Tuesday: "No. It's a single summer of boxing and working as hard as I can.'

This year Maya, who holidayed with friend Kaz in Thailand in April, is drawing on a wardrobe of vintage pieces pulled from clothes designer archives. So far Maya, Love Island host since 2023, has worn a vintage Versace swimsuit and a 1998 Dolce & Gabbana dress. Maya recently confirmed her romance with Ruben Dias for the first time with a loved-up display. The pair kissed and cuddled and the Man City defender, 27, even cheekily bit the TV star's neck as they stood pitch side at a weekly Baller League match. Love Island host Maya, 30, has been dating Ruben since they met at an awards bash in November but has kept their relationship under wraps until now. At one point the Portuguese pitch ace pulls her in for a hug, planting a smooch on her cheek and then rubs her back. They seem very happy with each other.'

Love Island hunk opens up on devastating family tragedy that saw fit and healthy cousin die ‘out of the blue'
A LOVE Island hunk has revealed a devastating family tragedy which saw his fit and healthy cousin die 'out of the blue'. Konnor Ewudzi, 29, entered ITV2 dating show last year - but he failed to find a meaningful connection. 5 5 5 Konnor revealed how his "whole family impacted by sickle cell disorder - sickle cell." This is a genetic condition affecting the red blood cells. He shared: 'My cousin, Alexander was born with sickle cell. He died at just 28, out of the blue. "He had just graduated from Cambridge University as an architect. "He was not sick or suffering any long term illnesses – his organs just gave up one day. "It is so sad that this can rob us of such beautiful lives at such young ages. "Testing is so key. And blood giving even more so.' People born with sickle cell have two parents carrying the "trait" - hence why such importance is placed on testing. The cells develop into a crescent shape and can cause blockages of the blood vessels. In turn, this can lead to pain and potential organ damage. Love Island fans spot secret feud between two boys after 'snakey move' Konnor added: 'For me, I am on one of the lucky ones. My Dad (Godfrey) carries the trait, so does my Sister Billie-May. "My Mum Siobhan is mixed race, and she didn't carry the trait, which is why I am so fortunate. "But my Auntie Freda, Uncle Richard and late Cousin Alexander, were not so lucky. "They suffered terribly growing up, with hospital visits and blood transfusions required to help them with their pain and suffering.' His dad, Godfrey, added: 'Seeing the way it has affected Freda, my Brother Richard and the sad loss of my late nephew, Alexander, is just heartbreaking. We just want to help more people avoid what we went through if possible.' Konnor assembled his close family for a photo shoot at Abbey Wood estate - a filming location for superhero drama Supacell. The Netflix programme follows a group of five ordinary black people - united by a family history of sickle cell disease. Regarding the show, Konnor said: "The series did an amazing job of highlighting the condition to the public, but there is so much more people need to know." He continued 'One blood unit or donation which takes 20 mins can help up to three patients – so it really is an incredibly easy way to help sickle cell sufferers. "There are blood donation centres all over the UK so we are hoping the numbers go up after sharing our personal stories.' WHAT IS SICKLE CELL DISEASE? SICKLE cell disease is a genetic condition that prevents red blood cells from developing properly. The cells can become abnormally shaped and die quicker than healthy blood cells, raising the risk of clots or blood vessel blockages. Most people live normal lives with the condition but it can trigger flare-ups called sickle cell crises, when symptoms become painful and may lead to complications. Signs include: Dizziness Pain Tiredness and weakness Headaches Shortness of breath Patients with sickle cell disorders are also at higher risk of infections, anaemia (low blood iron), gallstones, stroke, high blood pressure and kidney problems. There is no definitive cure for sickle cell disease and many patients require treatment throughout their lives. An estimated 15,000 people in England have it and it is more common in black people. John James OBE, Chief Executive of the Sickle Cell Society said: 'Sickle cell disorder is the UK's fastest growing genetic condition, but people living with it still face too much silence and too little support. "That's why we're asking people to 'Tell It Loud' this World Sickle Cell Day — by sharing their story, giving blood, and getting MPs to support better employment rights for people living with the condition. "We're so grateful to Konnor for sharing his story and helping us shine a light on sickle cell and the urgent need for more action, more awareness and more black heritage blood donors.'
