
Three arrested for attempting to smuggle hashish and marijuana into Oman
Muscat: Three individuals have been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for attempting to smuggle a quantity of hashish and marijuana by sea into the Sultanate of Oman.
ROP said in a statement :"The Coast Guard Police, in cooperation with the General Directorate for combatting Drugs and Psychotropic Substance, apprehended three individuals two of Iranian nationality and one of Pakistani nationality-while attempting to smuggle a quantity of hashish and marijuana by sea. Legal procedures are being completed."

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has arrested more than 25 expats for attempting to enter the Sultanate of Oman illegally. ROP said in a statement :"The Coast Guard Police, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested 29 people, including 27 Pakistanis, one Iranian, and one Bangladeshi, while they were trying to enter the country illegally via a boat coming from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
