Toronto police speak to reporters about what happened and the latest details regarding the victim and suspect(s) who fled.
A male in his teens has died following a late-night shooting in Toronto's west end, police say.
Toronto police responded to reports of gunfire near Emmett Avenue and Jane Street just after 10 p.m. Saturday.
When officers arrived, they say they located a male victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was taken to hospital by paramedics, where he later died of his injuries.
No suspect information has been released.

'This investigation is still in the very early stages,' Det. Philip Campbell told reporters at a news conference Sunday afternoon.
'What I can tell you is that the victim is a male in his teens.'
Campbell said officers remain on scene canvassing for video, speaking with witnesses, and gathering evidence.
'We want to assure the public that we are dedicating all necessary resources to this investigation to find those responsible,' he said.
Police are asking anyone with information including dashcam or home security footage from the area to contact the Homicide and Missing Persons Unit or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
'Members of the public who live in this neighbourhood can expect to see an increased police presence as we conduct our investigation,' Campbell added.

Silver alert issued over missing adult: police
The Winnipeg Police Service is asking for the public's help in finding Alexa Smith. (WPS) The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is requesting the public's assistance in finding a missing adult as part of a silver alert. Alexa Smith, 32, was last seen near Harbison Avenue West and Watt Street at approximately 10 a.m. on Sunday, according to police. Smith is described by officers as white, 4'11', heavier build, with blue eyes and short blonde hair. Smith was last seen wearing a red t-shirt, light runners and beige sweatpants. 1 dead, 6 others injured in collision in King Township: York police
Social Sharing One person is dead after a two-vehicle crash in King Township Sunday, said York police. The collision happened in the Jane Street and 16th Sideroad area just after 2:15 p.m. One person was pronounced dead, police said.
