Aysha Ijaz, a savvy mum who regularly shares cooking clips on social media, recently demonstrated how she turned two Ms Molly's Chocolate Cakes, which you can buy from Tesco for just £5.25 each, into a stunning drip cake.
Posting online, Aysha wrote: 'Make £10 grocery store cake Pinterest-worthy.'
To kick off the process, Aysha started by scraping the icing off of the two cakes.
She then cut the cakes into smaller circles and used chocolate buttercream to stack them on top of each other.
Once this was done, Aysha coated the outside and top of the cake with more of the chocolate buttercream.
She then shared her simple hack for the perfect DIY drip and it couldn't be easier.
Aysha confirmed that she used melted chocolate, which she applied to the cake using a piping bag, enabling her to get incredibly neat-looking drips.
Following this, the foodie used American buttercream to decorate the cake and finished it off with Ferrero Rocher and some gold spray.
Aysha confirmed that while she paid £10.50 for both cakes, she spent less than £5 on buttercream and £6 on Ferrero Rocher.
As a result, it cost her just £21.50 in total for the jaw-dropping birthday cake.
I DIY-ed a 'professional' level kids' birthday cake for less than £25 using Amazon & eBay buys - I didn't bake a thing
Not only was the total cost much cheaper than buying a personalised cake from a professional, but we think it looks incredible too.
The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @aysha.ijaz, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 753,300 views. 19,100 likes and 107 comments.

Social media users were impressed with Aysha's DIY birthday cake and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.
One person said: 'Excellent job.'
Another added: 'That looks amazing!'
A third commented: 'It looks delicious.'
Meanwhile, someone else gushed: 'I'm 100% doing this for my husband's birthday in November. I've saved the video.'

‘Why should I regret it?': Kneecap rapper hits back at criticism ahead of Glastonbury gig
Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh accused critics of 'scraping the bottom of the barrel' in their opposition to the west Belfast hip-hop trio. He was speaking in an interview with The Guardian ahead of their Glastonbury appearance this weekend. Mr Ó hAnnaidh (27), who appeared in court last week charged with a terrorism offence over displaying a flag, responded when asked if the band regretted controversial comments previously made on stage. The group faced criticism following their appearance at American music festival Coachella where they displayed anti-Israel and pro-Palestine messages. Footage then resurfaced of gigs from November 2024 and November 2023 respectively, which allegedly showed rapper Mo Chara saying 'Up Hamas, Up Hezbollah' with an alleged Hezbollah flag, and a band member allegedly saying: 'The only good Tory is a dead Tory, kill your local MP.' Referring to his alleged appearance on stage with a Hezbollah flag, over which the rapper is facing terrorism charges, Mr Ó hAnnaidh said: 'It's a joke. I'm a character. S*** is thrown on stage all the time. If I'm supposed to know every f***ing thing that's thrown on stage. 'I don't know every proscribed organisation – I've got enough s*** to worry about up there. I'm thinking about my next lyric, my next joke, the next drop of a beat.' Ó hAnnaidh then went on to defend his controversial 'dead Tory' comments, for which Kneecap apologised, saying: 'Why should I regret it? It was a joke'. 'Kneecap is not the story. Genocide in Gaza is' – Belfast rappers release new video demanding action against Israel He added that Kneecap's opponents 'went and combed through eight years of a career… they're really scraping the bottom of the barrel', saying that they 'took those videos out of context'. The group have claimed that their pro-Palestine stance has made them the victim of widespread scrutiny, with the rapper adding: 'The point is, that video wasn't an issue until we said 'Free Palestine' at Coachella'. At Mr Ó hAnnaidh's appearance in Westminster Magistrates Court last week, thousands of fans joined in chants of 'Free, Free Palestine' and 'Free Mo Chara' as he arrived wearing a traditional Palestinian Keffiyeh around his neck. Mr Ó hAnnaidh said he believes the rap group's pro-Palestine stance is drawing crowds to their music. 'The genocide in Palestine is a big reason we're getting such big crowds at our gigs, because we are willing to put that message out there," he added. He claims that mainstream media has tried to 'suppress that idea about the struggle in Palestine'. He added: 'We knew exactly that this (criticism) was going to happen, maybe not to the extreme [level] that it has, but we knew that the Israeli lobbyists and the American government weren't going to stand by idly while we spoke to thousands of young Americans who agree with us. 'They don't want us coming to the American festivals, because they don't want videos of young Americans chanting 'free Palestine' [even though] that is the actual belief in America. They just want to suppress it.' Kneecap are due to play Glastonbury's West Holts stage at 4pm on Saturday. Prime Minister Keir Starmer said last week that their performance would not be 'appropriate'. But Glastonbury co-organiser Emily Eavis said that 'everyone is welcome' at the festival: 'There have been a lot of really heated topics this year, but we remain a platform for many, many artists from all over the world and, you know, everyone is welcome here.'

Lewis Capaldi's Glastonbury 'set time confirmed' amidst mysterious Pyramid Stage slot
The star is rumoured to be taking to the stage this afternoon. Lewis Capaldi seems to be making a triumphant return to Glastonbury two years on from his 2023 performance which saw him visibly struggling with his Tourette's Syndrome to the point fans had to finish his songs for him. But now, it seems that the Scots singer will be heading back to the festival to perform once more after taking a two year break. Following his set in 2023, the 28-year-old announced a break from music and cancelled all of his upcoming gigs to focus on his mental and physical health. Fans believe that Lewis will be playing the mysterious 'TBA' slot on the iconic Pyramid Stage from 4.55pm until 5.30pm today as the singer dropped a new song last night at midnight and also mysterious billboards have appeared at a station close to Glastonbury in Somerset and another in Glasgow City Centre with messages of lyrics to Lewis' new song 'Survive'. Festival goers have also spotted signs all over the festival site which have a picture of the star wearing his iconic sunglasses with the words: "Celebrity lookalike contest - Pyramid Stage 16:45 - Absolutely zero cash prize." So anyone hoping to catch a glimpse of the Scots chanter should head to the festival for 4.45pm, just to be safe! Fans flocked to social media to talk about the possibility of Lewis returning to the stage after two years. One said: "The best thing that can happen today is for Lewis Capaldi to make a comeback on Glastonbury pyramid stage. The love he will feel will be another level." Another added: "omfg Lewis C apaldi G lastonbury secret set is actually happening." "I had no desire to be at Glastonbury this year but seeing Lewis Capaldi is basically nailed on for a secret set is making me jealous", another wrote. Another commented: "Good to see Lewis Capaldi back, was in the crowd last time at Glastonbury and could see how much he was struggling. Hope he smashes it today back there." The song was also leaked on TikTok, with the billboard message 'I refuse to spend my best years rotting in the sun' aligning with the lyrics in the track. Last night, Lewis posted for the first time this year with a snippet to his new song 'Survive'. In the tune, Lewis references his mental health challenges of self-doubt and despair, Lewis, 28, sings, 'How long 'til it feels, Like I'm more than a spoke in a wheel? 'Most nights I fear that I'm not enough. I've had my share of Monday mornings when I can't get up. But when hope is lost. And I come undone, I swear to God I'll survive, If it kills me to, I'm gonna get up and try, if it's the last thing I do. He then comes out swinging in a chorus full of defiance with the line, 'I swear to God I'll survive, if it kills me to, I'm gonna' get up and try, if it's the last thing I'll do. 'I've still got something to give, Though it hurts sometimes, I'm gonna get up and live, Until the day that I die.' Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community!
