5.2-magnitude earthquake hits Southern California, US
Washington - Saba:
An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale hit San Diego County in southern California, western United States, on Monday.
According to a statement by the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the earthquake, which has a depth of 9.0 kilometers, was initially located at 33.03 degrees north latitude and 116.76 degrees west longitude.
Residents north of Los Angeles, the state's largest city, felt the quake.
There were no reports of injuries or damage from the quake.
California regularly experiences earthquakes, with seismologists warning that an earthquake capable of causing widespread destruction is almost certain to hit the state within the next 30 years.

Istanbul – SABA: A new earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 on the Richter scale struck the Turkish city of Istanbul on Friday. According to Russia's "RIA Novosti" agency, the tremor was felt strongly in the western part of the city at around 8:33 PM local time. The agency noted that the quake was weaker than the one that hit the city last Wednesday.
