Sam's Club Just Upgraded This Popular Food Court Item in a Major Way
In our modern world of convenience, nothing beats having the products we love delivered straight to our doorstep—especially when it comes to food. After a long day at work or an exhausting weekend, the right takeout can make or break the night. And when dinnertime hits and you're too tired to cook, it's a relief to know exactly who you can count on to feed your hungry mouths at home. Following the recent announcement that Sam's Club's cult-favorite Member's Mark 16' Hot Baked Pizza is now available for curbside pickup, the popular bulk retailer is back with even more mouthwatering news. When it comes to dinner options the whole family can agree on, pizza will always be a top-five favorite pick—so it only makes sense that Sam's Club is building on an already great thing. 😋😋🍳🍔 Introducing: Sam's Club pizza delivery. That's right, starting now (and rolling out nationwide to all locations by the end of May), Sam's Club members can get their favorite 16-inch Hot Baked Pizzas delivered straight from the Sam's Club Cafe to their door for only $8.98. And to make this deal even better, with Express Delivery, you're guaranteed to get your pizza in under three you might be thinking—three hours is a long time to wait for a pizza. And you'd be right. But Sam's Club remains committed to elevating the member experience, making it easier, faster, and more personalized, all while delivering on what members want most. In reimagining what a 'modern club experience' looks like, the retailer is blending beloved in-club favorites with digital convenience. All of this is to say that it's unlikely your pizza will actually take three hours to arrive. But like with any new system, a few hiccups are to be expected. If you're planning ahead—say, for a Memorial Day party where you need multiple pizzas—a three-hour delivery window is a pretty solid block of time to work with. Just order in advance with your preferred delivery time in mind, and you'll be good to go. ‘Ballerina' Box Office Projections Drop Ahead Of ‘Lilo & Stitch' Showdown
Ana de Armas in "From the World of John Wick: Ballerina." Lilo & Stitch is projected to top Ana de Armas' John Wick spinoff movie Ballerina in its opening weekend at the domestic box office after early forecasts suggested a different outcome for the action crime thriller. Rated R, Ballerina — formally titled From the World of John Wick: Ballerina — stars Ana de Armas as a vengeful ballerina and trained assassin in a tale that runs parallel to some of the events in the 2019 blockbuster John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Keanu Reeves and other John Wick franchise stars including Ian McShane, Angelica Huston and the late Lance Reddick appear in Ballerina in supporting roles. Lilo & Stitch, of course, dominated the box office over the recent four-day Memorial Day weekend holiday by earning $182.6 million from 4,410 North American theaters. The live-action remake of the 2002 Disney animated classic has earned $284.2 domestically and $334.4 million internationally for a worldwide box office tally of $618.6 million to date. In its projections for the June 6-8 box office on Wednesday, Variety is forecasting that Lilo & Stitch will earn somewhere between $30 million to $35 million in North American theaters this weekend, while Ballerina will run a close second with a take of $28 million to $30 million from 3,400 theaters domestically. Distributed by John Wick franchise studio Lionsgate, Ballerina, directed by Len Wiseman, had a production budget of $90 million before prints and advertising costs, Variety reported. Variety's projections are soft in comparison to early forecasts from the likes of Deadline and Box Office Pro. On May 15, Deadline projected that Ballerina would open in the vicinity of $35 million to $40 million in the film's opening frame, while Box Office Pro on May 16 projected a $35 million to $45 million opening for Ballerina in its weekend box office debut. On Wednesday, Box Office Pro's opening weekend projections for Ballerina dropped to a $32 million to $40 million opening frame. Writer-director Wes Anderson's latest offbeat comedy The Phoenician Scheme is expanding to a wider release this weekend following a limited release in theaters on May 30. The Phoenician Scheme, which held its world premiere at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, opened in six theaters domestically and earned just over $603,000 in its debut. The film is also already playing in international markets, where it has earned $7.3 million to date. Variety projects that The Phoenician Scheme — which will open wide on Friday in 1,500 North American venues — will debut somewhere in the single digits but did not peg a specific number.

Unity CTO Steve Collins steps down after 6 months
Steve Collins, the CTO of the game engine developer Unity, is stepping down, a company representative confirmed to TechCrunch. He joined Unity just six months ago after serving as CTO of King, the mobile gaming company behind Candy Crush. According to Unity, Collins made the decision to leave the company of his own accord. "We can confirm that Steve Collins has decided to leave Unity for personal reasons," a company representative said. "We're grateful for his contributions. As we continue our transformation, we're confident our world-class tech team will keep driving the strategy forward." Unity has faced much internal strife over the last few years. In fall 2023, the company announced controversial changes to its pricing model that enraged the developer community. Though some of these changes were walked back, the company's CEO John Riccitiello resigned as a result. Months later, Unity laid off 25% of its staff, amounting to 1,800 jobs. Though Unity now has some distance from those events, some game developers remain distrusting of the company. Collins' departure is not necessarily related to Unity's struggles, but another executive shakeup could prove disruptive. Sign in to access your portfolio
