Senco Gold Q4 net profit jumps 94 percent to Rs 62 crore

Jewellery retailer Senco Gold Ltd reported a 94 percent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 62 crore ($7.3 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against Rs 32 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
The company's revenue for the quarter stood at Rs 1,378 crore, as against Rs 1,137 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.
For the full financial year, the company's revenue from operations stood at Rs 6,328 crore while net profit was Rs 159 crore.
Commenting on the results, Suvankar Sen, managing director CEO in a statement said, ''We witnessed strong festive and wedding season demand along with improved traction in studded and diamond jewellery. Our focus on digital, franchisee-led expansion, and customer-centric innovation continues to yield results.'
'The strong wedding & valentine (season) has given a boost to Q4 business, witnessing more footfalls and improvement in sales by 21 percent. Diamond jewellery grew by 38 percent,' he added.
Senco Gold and Diamonds opened a total of 15 showrooms during the full fiscal year. The brand now counts 175 retail outlets across India.

'Our manufacturing capabilities are not just a backbone, they are a growth engine,' said Cantabil Retail India Limited's CFO Shivender Nigam, India Retailing reported. 'Having end-to-end control from design to distribution enables us to stay agile, manage margins efficiently, and deliver consistent quality across all markets. This is especially critical as we scale and work toward crossing the Rs 1000 crore revenue mark by FY27.' Alongside physical store expansion, Cantabil is also strengthening its e-commerce presence and refreshing product lines to appeal to younger, trend-conscious shoppers. Its offerings span men's, women's, and children's wear, and the brand is expanding its accessories segment to provide a more complete wardrobe solution. Cantabil products are also available via its direct to customer e-commerce platform and on e-commerce marketplaces including Myntra, Ajio, Amazon, Flipkart, Nykaa, and TataCliq.

Campus Activewear Q4 net profit rises 7 percent to Rs 35 crore

Footwear major Campus Activewear Ltd reported a 7 percent increase in net profit to Rs 35 crore ($4.1 million) for the fourth quarter ended March 31, as against Rs 33 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company's revenue for the quarter rose by 12 percent to Rs 406 crore, as against Rs 364 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. For the full year, the company's net profit was Rs 121 crore on a sales revenue of Rs 1,593 crore. Commenting on the results, Nikhil Agarwal, CEO of Campus Activewear in a statement said, 'This performance was underpinned by our focused expansion in distribution, a surge in online sales, the introduction of trend-forward styles, and the impactful launch of our new digital marketing campaign. FY25 marked a year of meaningful progress in brand visibility and channel diversification. We successfully debuted on the quick commerce platforms and expanded our footprint into premium large format stores, enhancing accessibility and brand equity.' 'With a strong balance sheet and a clear strategic roadmap, Campus Activewear is well-positioned to lead through its omni-channel presence, vertically integrated manufacturing, operational excellence, product innovation, digital transformation and innovative marketing initiatives,' he added. During FY25, Campus Activewear expanded its retail presence with the launch of 30 new stores to end with a store count of 296 across India.

Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care Ltd reported a marginal increase of 1 percent in profit after tax at Rs 156 crore ($18.3 million) for the quarter ended March 31, 2025, as against Rs 154 crore in the year-ago quarter. The company, which follows the July-June financial year also saw a slight decline in revenue to Rs 992 crore, as against Rs 1,002 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. Commenting on the results, V Kumar, managing director of Procter & Gamble Hygiene and Health Care in a statement said, 'We delivered balanced growth while continuing to introduce innovations that enhance the consumer experience in both our feminine care and health care portfolios.' 'We remain focused on executing our integrated growth strategy– a product portfolio of categories where performance drives brand choice, superiority (of product performance, packaging, brand communication, retail execution and consumer and customer value), productivity, constructive disruption, and an agile and accountable organization – towards long term value creation,' he added. Procter & Gamble has a strong portfolio of brands in the health, hygiene and wellness segments.
