He was awaiting trial for allegedly running an elaborate child sex trafficking operation, according to News Nation. Since the political fallout, Musk has experienced a financial hit. The 53-year-old's net worth fell below $400 billion, marking a decline of $26.7 billion. Additionally, Musk's Tesla stock declined 14%, or $47 per share, to $285. Musk exited his role as one of Trump's advisors and head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). ABC News reported that multiple administration officials have attempted to contact Musk without success as the public spat continues. As the beef continues, Steve Bannon has suggested that Trump investigate Musk's alleged drug use and immigration status, according to the New York Times. Man assaults fire official, barricades himself inside home in Tacony, Northeast Philadelphia, police say
A man assaulted a Philadelphia Fire Department official before barricading himself inside a Northeast Philadelphia home on Friday, police said. Police are responding to the assault and barricade situation that began Friday morning on Jackson Street. Chopper 3/CBS News Philadelphia Around 9:50 a.m., officers were called to the scene of a possible assault on the 7100 block of Jackson Street, a police spokesperson said. Officers learned that a fire lieutenant was assaulted by an unknown man who then fled into a home. Police have declared the situation a barricade incident and notifiied the SWAT team. Images from Chopper 3 showed SWAT units on the scene. This is a developing story and will be updated.

Man found guilty of killing, dismembering Sade Robinson after first date in Milwaukee
A Milwaukee man was found guilty on Friday of killing and dismembering a 19-year-old college student on the night of their first date. Prosecutors charged Maxwell Anderson in April 2024 with first-degree intentional homicide, dismembering a corpse, arson and hiding a corpse in connection with Sade Robinson's death. The jury convicted Anderson on all four counts. Investigators believe Anderson killed her on their first date on April 1, 2024, dismembered her body and spread her remains around Milwaukee County. Robinson was last seen alive at Anderson's home. Her arm was found at a Waukegan beach. Robinson's 2020 Civic was found torched the next day, and video showed Anderson leaving the scene where the burned car was found, prosecutors said. He was arrested two days later in a traffic stop by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's office. Anderson's attorney, Tony Cotton, argued during the eight-day trial that no DNA links Anderson to the crimes. Cotton did not immediately respond to an email seeking comment on Friday's verdicts. Anderson faces a mandatory life sentence in prison when he's sentenced Aug. 15.
