Tottenham confirm first transfer of the window after triggering loan star's option to buy on a permanent deal

TOTTENHAM have confirmed that Kevin Danso's initial loan move is set to become a permanent transfer.

The transfer included an obligation to buy, with Tottenham spending £21million to make the move permanent.
Updating fans, Spurs confirmed their Danso switch while also referencing Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's permanent move to Marseille.
Their statement read: "As previously announced, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg's loan to Marseille will become a permanent transfer this summer, while Kevin Danso's loan to us from RC Lens becomes a permanent move."
Danso made 10 Premier League appearances for Spurs either side of a hamstring injury.
