AEW's Darby Allin Makes History as First Pro Wrestler to Reach Mount Everest Summit

On Sunday, AEW's star Darby Allin officially reached the summit of Mount Everest, becoming the first professional wrestler to make such an achievement.
The 32-year-old reached the peak at 8:50 am local time on May 18, 2025, alongside a team of experienced climbers.
Allin's team included renowned climbers Ang Dorjee Sherpa (24th summit), Pasang Bhote (14th summit), Tashi Thundu Sherpa (12th summit), and Pemba Sherpa (2nd summit). According to the official update, the team is now descending to Camp 4 after arriving at the summit.
In addition to reaching the summit, Allin set a world record for the highest kickflip ever performed – at an elevation of 20,958 feet.
AEW officially posted a congratulatory post on social media, stating, 'Congratulations to @DarbyAllin for reaching the summit of Mount Everest!' Fellow AEW wrestler Swerve Strickland also reacted to the news, writing 'TOP OF THE WORLD!!!' in a message of support.

Karim Abdel Aziz's ‘Project X' soars at box office, unveils global pyramid mystery

'Project X' achieved impressive box office revenues in Egyptian cinemas on the eve of Eid al-Adha. The highly anticipated film secured the top spot, raking in LE2.114 million from the sale of 14,880 tickets in just 24 hours. This strong performance propelled the film's total earnings over 16 nights to an remarkable LE52.2 million, with 368,000 tickets sold. 'Project X': A cinematic spectacle 'Project X' stands as one of the most ambitious cinematic productions in the history of Egyptian and Arab cinema. Its grand scale is underscored by filming across five countries: Egypt, Vatican City, Italy, Turkey, and El Salvador. The film also boasts the use of cutting-edge global cinematic technologies, including IMAX, 4DX, Dolby Atmos, and ScreenX, promising audiences an unparalleled visual and auditory experience in the Arab world. She was discovered at the age of fifteen and enrolled at the Conservatory of Arabic Music to begin her singing career. The acclaimed singer soon met composer Mohamed Diae, whom she eventually married and became the father of her son, Omar. She filed for divorce a year later.
