Jordon Hudson and Bill Belichick's ex Linda Holliday receive boxing match offer after shock Christmas party spat
Any leftover animosity between Jordon Hudson and Linda Holliday now has the chance to be settled in a boxing match, as Bill Belichick 's former and current partners have been given the opportunity to step inside the ropes as opponents.
Celebrity Boxing has made the public offer to both Hudson, 24, and Holliday for a bout where throwing fists would be on the table.
There is no word on how much either would stand to make by making their boxing debuts or whether the fight would be for charity. Any match would come after their Nantucket Christmas Party spat from last year.
'I wanted to reach out and I want to give them the opportunity and the platform here at Celebrity Boxing to settle that beef in the ring,' company founder Damon Feldman told TMZ.
Neither Holliday, Belichick, or Hudson have acknowledged the boxing request, with the 73-year-old busy in his first season on the sidelines at North Carolina.
According to a 2024 incident report filed by an employee at a Nantucket party venue, Dreamland, Holliday was enraged by Hudson's presence at the December 6 event. Holliday's twin daughters - Ashley and Kat Hess - were DJing at the party.
Belichick and Holliday, 61, broke up in September 2023 after 16 years together. He met Hudson on a flight from Boston to Florida in 2021.
The incident report says Holliday thought Hudson being there was 'inappropriate, since the event was widely advertised as a party headlined by her daughters.'
The report claims that at 9:30pm, Holliday approached the member of staff and asked her to remove Hudson, 24, from the party.
While on the phone with the venue's executive director to discuss removing Hudson, staff spotted Holliday and friend Elin Hilderbrand - believed to be the New York Times bestselling author - approach Hudson on the dance floor with 'threatening body language and escalating aggression'.
But as the employee approached the dance floor, Holliday and her friends - which also included Heather Thorpe - decided to back away.
'I asked Ms. Hudson if she thought it was a good idea to be there considering the clear animosity the above individuals felt towards her,' the employee wrote in the report.
'She defended herself by saying she'd done nothing wrong, and it was her first time attending Christmas Stroll and wanted to attend the "big party" going on that night, which happened to be the one featuring the Hess Twins.'
'She said she was not looking to cause any problems, but just wanted to go out and have fun with her friend.'
Hudson was attending the event with Melissa Sapini, last year's winner of the Miss Massachusetts beauty pageant.
When realizing there were only a few minutes left of the party, Hudson is said to have agreed to leave if the employee accompanied them to the exit.
As they waited by the exit, Hudson supposedly then told the employee that Holliday threatened Sapini during the clash on the dance floor.
It was claimed Holliday told Hudson's friend that if she 'valued her current title, she should think twice about who her friends are' and that she 'had many powerful friends in the pageant organization.'
The report says Sapini didn't speak but broke down in tears in the room and was 'wiping her eyes frequently'.
After leaving Hudson and Sapini by the exit, the employee returned to find Holliday who said: 'If this didn't involve my girls, I don't think this would have bothered me as much, but because it did the "momma bear" in me came out.'
Dreamland told TMZ that, despite the tense altercation, police and security were never involved.
News of the tense encounter comes a day after Page Six reported that Hudson has been 'iced out' by the socialites of Nantucket, who are staying fiercely loyal to Holliday.
Hudson has supposedly been trying to work her way into the social and charity scenes on the exclusive island that sits just off the coast in Massachusetts.
Belichick's ex is a major player in those circles and, as a result, locals are shunning Hudson's attempts to muscle in.
'She's trying to claim her stake in the social circle. That is Linda's thing,' a source said.
Hudson has come under fire in recent weeks over her relationship with the legendary NFL coach, 73, who recently took over the UNC Tar Heels.
There have been a string of damaging reports about her influence over Belichick, while a number of big names have lined up to slam the couple.
The criticism has snowballed ever since Belichick's infamous interview with CBS, when Hudson - sitting off-camera - interrupted to shut down questions about how they met.
It was recently claimed that the coach's loved ones are 'digging into' his girlfriend amid fears she could tear down 'everything he's built'.
Should the unlikely event of Holliday and Hudson stepping into the ring together come to fruition, their 37-year-age difference would be greater than the 30 years between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson from November's mega fight on Netflix.
Celebrity Boxing is currently promoting future events with appearances from combat sports legends Ric Flair and Michael Spinks.

Attorneys in NCAA antitrust case to share $475M in fees, with potential to reach $725M
The attorneys who shepherded the blockbuster antitrust lawsuit to fruition for hundreds of thousands of college athletes will share in just over $475 million in fees, and the figure could rise to more than $725 million over the next 10 years. The request for plaintiff legal fees in the House vs. NCAA case, outlined in a December court filing and approved Friday night, struck experts in class-action litigation as reasonable. Co-lead counsels Steve Berman and Jeffrey Kessler asked for $475.2 million, or 18.3% of the cash common funds of $2.596 billion. They also asked for an additional $250 million, for a total of $725.2 million, based on a widely accepted estimate of an additional $20 billion in direct benefits to athletes over the 10-year settlement term. That would be 3.2% of what would then be a $22.596 billion settlement. 'Class Counsel have represented classes of student-athletes in multiple litigations challenging NCAA restraints on student-athlete compensation, and they have achieved extraordinary results. Class Counsel's representation of the settlement class members here is no exception,' U.S. District Judge Claudia Wilken wrote. University of Buffalo law professor Christine Bartholomew, who researched about 1,300 antitrust class-action settlements from 2005-22 for a book she authored, told The Associated Press the request for attorneys' fees could have been considered a bit low given the difficulty of the case, which dates back five years. She said it is not uncommon for plaintiffs' attorneys to be granted as much as 30% of the common funds. Attorneys' fees generally are calculated by multiplying an hourly rate by the number of hours spent working on a case. In class-action lawsuits, though, plaintiffs' attorneys work on a contingency basis, meaning they get paid at the end of the case only if the class wins a financial settlement. 'Initially, you look at it and think this is a big number,' Bartholomew said. 'When you look at how contingency litigation works generally, and then you think about how this fits into the class-action landscape, this is not a particularly unusual request.' The original lawsuit was filed in June 2020 and it took until November 2023 for Wilken to grant class certification, meaning she thought the case had enough merit to proceed. Elon University law professor Catherine Dunham said gaining class certification is challenging in any case, but especially a complicated one like this. 'If a law firm takes on a case like this where you have thousands of plaintiffs and how many depositions and documents, what that means is the law firm can't do other work while they're working on the case and they are taking on the risk they won't get paid,' Dunham said. 'If the case doesn't certify as a class, they won't get paid.' In the request for fees, the firm of Hagens Berman said it had dedicated 33,952 staff hours to the case through mid-December 2024. Berman, whose rate is $1,350 per hour, tallied 1,116.5 hours. Kessler, of Winston & Strawn, said he worked 1,624 hours on the case at a rate of $1,980 per hour. The case was exhaustive. Hundreds of thousands of documents totaling millions of pages were produced by the defendants — the NCAA, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Pac-12 and SEC — as part of the discovery process. Berman and Kessler wrote the 'plaintiffs had to litigate against six well-resourced defendants and their high-powered law firms who fought every battle tooth and nail. To fend off these efforts, counsel conducted extensive written discovery and depositions, and submitted voluminous expert submissions and lengthy briefing. In addition, class counsel also had to bear the risk of perpetual legislative efforts to kill these cases.' Antitrust class-action cases are handled by the federal court system and have been harder to win since 2005, when the U.S. Class Action Fairness Act was passed, according to Bartholomew. 'Defendants bring motion after motion and there's more of a pro-defendant viewpoint in federal court than there had been in state court,' she said. 'As a result, you would not be surprised that courts, when cases do get through to fruition, are pretty supportive of applications for attorneys' fees because there's great risk that comes from bringing these cases fiscally for the firms who, if the case gets tossed early, never gets compensated for the work they've done.' ___
